Shannon From ‘MAFS’ Is Having Another Baby With His Ex
If you just read this headline with a wide-eyed shocked, look, you’re not alone.
Yep, Shady Shannon from the 2023 season of Married at First Sight is about to become a dad again, with his ex announcing she’s pregnant with their second child.
“In early October, Milli will have a little sister, and I have another little bestie. I didn’t think I’d be doing it as a solo single mum. But thankfully with all the love of my family and friends, I’ll have the best support I need,” Jamea Drake said via an Instagram announcement.

Jamea confirmed to Pedestrian.TV that Shannon is the father, giving an exclusive interview with some juicy details about what happened with their relationship post-MAFS.
As MAFS fans will probably recall, Shannon openly admitted on the show that he was still hung up on his ex, telling “wife” Caitlin McConville that he would’ve been more likely to get over Jamea if Caitlin had blown him away more on their wedding day.
As it turns out after leaving the show, Shannon and Jamea did reconcile, but broke things off again recently.
“We were working on the relationship after the show. But once the show aired, his actions came up. The comments made and how he portrayed me made it rocky,” Jamea told Pedestrian. “We called it quits in March.”
At this stage, Jamea doesn’t seem 100% certain as to whether Shannon will take on an active co-parenting role, saying he hadn’t seen their daughter since last month and allegedly hasn’t been paying child support.
“Hopefully Shan decides to be a part of the kids’ lives and we can get along,” she said.
