A Deep Dive Into The Messy Love Lives Of This Year’s ‘MAFS’ Contestants
Now that the dust has finally settled on this season of Married At First Sight, the only thing left to do is obsess over who is dating who and oh boy, what a mess.
Like most seasons of this absolute shitshow, most of the married couples have since called it quits but that doesn’t mean they haven’t started dating each other and other lesser known celebs.
So we’ve done a deep dive into the minefield that is the MAFS contestants’ dating lives.
Here’s the status of the MAFS contestants post-show:
Jules & Cam
Let’s ease y’all into this. No surprises here but the dream team is still going strong.
Cyrell & Eden (Love Island)
Who would have predicted these two crazy kids would have gotten together but according to both of their Instagrams, they appear to be an item. It all started after they were papped pashing back in March and the Love Island runner-up recently attended Cyclone Cyrell’s 30th birthday party.
Lauren & Billy
The two were spotted at Cyrell’s birthday sharing a kiss. And it turns out this isn’t the first time, as Billy told the Daily Mail they had hooked up in February.
However, it also appears Billy has just started dating Instagram model Lily Buhl, as seen below. Buhl later gave an interview saying Billy had told her about the kiss with Lauren and said it was just “a fun kiss”.
Tamara & Billy
Speaking of Billy and his wandering lips, we were a little shooketh to hear that Billy and Tamara had their own little affair. Billy told Yahoo: “Me and Tamara started a little something on the show.”
Tamara confirmed they indeed had a connection. “I wasn’t getting any attention from Dan, so yeah, I was kind of baiting Billy a little bit, I’m not going to lie,” Tamara told the website.
“I really got along with Billy and I really found him attractive and I found his sensitive side quite endearing because most guys are like white rice.”
Apparently things didn’t work out because of the distance between them. “She just said ‘Doll, I don’t want another pen pal’,” Billy said.
Damn! We really ship these two. Tamara appears to currently be single.
Susie & Todd Carney
First photographed kissing around Valentine’s Day, rumours that Susie was dating footballer Todd Carney have been swirling for weeks and were finally confirmed by Susie on Instagram before the MAFS finale. She seems head-over-heels for the NRL star, telling the Talking Married hosts “I’m actually in full-blown love, it’s totally amazing.”
Martha & Michael
Against all odds, it looks like Martha and Michael are still together. They were recently photographed cuddling up together on the beach in Sydney. Does this mean they’ve relocated to Bondi? Who knows! Not me! But sending them happy vibes.
Jess & Dan
ICYMI, Jess and Dan split roughly four days after the finale aired. Dan confirmed the breakup and has since deleted every photo of Jess off his Instagram. Jess has also removed most of the recent couple photos she originally posted. Savage.
What a mess these contestants have left for us to clean up.
