Last night’s MasterChef hit us straight in the feels, with All-Star contestants Poh Ling Yeow, Callum Hann, and Reynold Poernomo returning to their old stomping ground.

The elimination episode saw the iconic chefs challenge the remaining contestants with creating a 90-minute dish that would sit comfortably on the menu of either Poh, Callum, or Reynold’s restaurants. This led to the majority of the dishes being inspired by Poh and Callum, while only a handful of contestants took on the immense perfection that is Reynold’s dessert wizardry.

The pressure was too much for Wynona and Elise, who both chose to use their immunity pins to save themselves at the last minute. Sadly, early fave Minoli was sent packing for a Callum-inspired dish that had too many bold flavours.

Aside from the stressful challenge, it was just nice to have the three successful MasterChef OGs back in the kitchen after the iconic 2020 season. They have been sorely missed, as has Poh’s truly chaotic and infectious energy.
