From searching for the Loch Ness Monster in Scotland, to tracking down leprechauns in Ireland, hunting creatures is big business. More than 1 million people visit the area surrounding Loch Ness every year, generating up to $38 million in revenue, along with famous creatures having their own museums and dedicated tours.

Loch Ness Monster – Loch Ness, Scotland
It’s been a century long search for the Loch Ness Monster, or as it is affectionately known as ‘Nessie’ and is a must-do for any self-respecting monster hunter. Head over to Scotland and to Loch Ness, but beware the lake is freakin’ HUGE. At nearly 37 kilometres long and more than 750 feet deep, it contains the largest volume of fresh water of any body of water in Great Britain. You will be searching for A WHILE.
The creature was first spotted back in 1933, with Hugh Gray capturing a blurry image of the monster, and there has since been hundreds of sightings. Just in September 2014, a man claimed to see a 15 to 20 foot-long creature emerge from the water for six to seven seconds and last year there was over four sightings.
