Imagine copping a strawberry kiss from Nikki Webster?

Whether you know her as the vocalist behind ‘Strawberry Kisses’ or the brave, little 13-year-old who smashed the 2000 Olympics out of the park, there’s gotta be a soft spot in your heart for Nikki Webster.

The early-’00s icon was inescapable for a hot second there, even I – a young boy – begged my mum for some of Nikki Webster’s Target swimwear fashion line. Needless to say, I never got them.

But, Nikki has been in the public consciousness recently. In 2019, the singer competed on The Masked Singer Australia, placing 10th out of the 12 celebrities. Moreover, it would seem that the star is down to do some more reality TV, entertaining the idea in an interview with Woman’s Day

Nikki Webster On The Bachelorette

“Australia’s next Bachelorette, could you imagine?!” Nikki laughs, “You know what? I could totally do that! One hundred percent I’m there, how else do you meet men these days?”

I mean, tea Nikki Webster! You may as well hop on a dating show given the quality of men on Tinder. She also goes on to talk about how she loves to support the Aussie media industry, “I’m not one of those people who says, ‘Oh I’m not doing (reality TV) again,’ I love supporting the entertainment industry.”

We would love to see that show. And if you’re not going to throw her on The Bachelorette, at least put her in the I’m A Celeb jungle.

Where Is Nikki Now?

At the moment, Nikki runs her own business, Dance @ Nikki Webster, which has been struggling during the COVID-19 pandemic. “Our whole world was turned upside-down and it was an incredibly challenging time,” Nikki told Woman’s Day. “There’s been a devastating impact on all small businesses and it’s going to take some time to recover, but it’s been encouraging learning to become more adaptable.”

But, things are looking up for Nikki: she’s embarking on a new project right now, being an ambassador for the release of Trolls World Tour: Dance Party Edition. Love that for her.
