Turns Out No One Knows What ‘OFC’ Actually Stands For & We’ve All Been Using It Wrong

This is ‘IMHO’ all over again. A tweet has thrown everything we know to be true on this earth way up into the air. It turns out ‘OFC’ stands for ‘of fucking course’.

Aussie blogger Rahnee Bransby tweeted that she just discovered that ‘OFC’ does not simply stand of ‘of course’, which tbh is making us question everything we’ve ever said.

While Urban Dictionary lists the abbreviation as ‘of course’, it does note that the original translation was ‘of fucking course’.

I did a quick poll of our office and only one person thought the abbreviation stood for ‘of fucking course’, so it turns out most of us have been wrong all along.

Don’t lie, you all thought the same too.
