Here Are All The Petty Ways Aussies Are Raging Against The Plastic Bag Ban
Plastic bags have been banned from Australia’s two biggest supermarkets and SHOCKINGLY, the world is still turning. But some people aren’t happy and are finding a variety of ways to stick it to the man.
A plastic bag ban in Australia was inevitable. According to the UN, more than 60 countries have already introduced bans or levies on single-use bags.
We can’t deny that changes need to be made considering that more than 8 million tonnes of plastic ends up in the world’s oceans each year. But as the ban was introduced at the beginning of July, some Aussies immediately lost their shit.

One thing is for sure, when Aussies don’t like something they will find a shifty way around it. It’s in our blood.
Here are the petty ways Aussies are raging against the plastic bag ban:
This innovator decided to take their entire trolley home in the boot of their car. This is a level of extra I will never attain.
One reddit user Dreadknock took their entire shopping basket home. They shared the following picture captioned:
“No 1 use plastic bags at Woolworths anymore but they do provide these awesome reusable heavy duty plastic bags, sweet!”
Facebook lolster SCHNOODA shared the following meme, showing someone filling the plastic bags meant for fresh produce with all of their groceries.
Other shoppers are roasting the supermarkets for banning plastic bags while still using plastic wrapping on bizarre and unnecessary items.
