The Real Housewives of Melbourne are back where they belong: on our TV screens, and arguing with each other on Twitter.

During last night’s premiere (which we recapped here), Janet Roach was not holding back in her comments directed at ‘Champagne Dame’ Kyla Kirkpatrick. For those who didn’t catch the episode, newcomer Kyla got Janet offside when she brought her own champagne flutes to Janet’s lunch, before being caught out allegedly badmouthing the other women’s fashion in a text to another newbie, Cherry Dipietrantonio.

From the minute Kyla appeared in the first episode, Janet was already roasting her — claiming that Kyla had lied in her introduction package.

Tea! I don’t know what Janet was referring to but shots have been fired. She didn’t stop there, Janet doubled down on her issues with how Kyla acted at her lunch. Tweeting that while she didn’t mind Kyla promoting her champagne glasses, she wasn’t happy that she ordered himbo waiter Hugo around. “Not cool. Poor etiquette,” Janet added.

Jackie also tweeted that she didn’t vibe with Kyla’s decision to bring her own champagne glasses to the lunch.

The episode ended with Kyla denying that she had texted Cherry some snide remarks about the women’s fashion. Janet maintained that she had seen the text Cherry received and labelled Kyla a “liar”. Janet tweeted that both herself and Gamble saw the text exchange.

This isn’t the first war that Janet has waged with a new housewife. Janet and Anjali Rao exchanged harsh words last week after Janet shared that Anjali had an issue with a photo Janet posted of her. “Apparently I had to ask [to upload the photo],” Janet said. “Nobody knows who you are so we don’t actually give a sh*t. Chill out, let’s face it.”

In response, Anjali posted on Instagram, calling her “Granny Janny” and making a cruel remark about Janet wearing nappies.

Stay classy, ladies.
