It’s Happening: Joe Jonas Has Officially Filed For Divorce
Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas have been a staple of ‘They’re A Solid Couple’ fame since they first got together back in 2016.
Sure, they were an unexpected couple – merging Disney Channel and Game Of Thrones worlds – who kept things quiet (bar a few matching tattoos) before getting married in Vegas by Elvis and following that up with a grand wedding ceremony in France.

The couple now have two children together – one of which I think is called Willa and they haven’t released the name of their second daughter, who turned one this year. Sophie and Joe have been spending a fair chunk of time apart at the moment, as Joe is on his Jonas Brothers world tour with his two siblings, Nick and Kevin.
Sophie has taken on acting gigs since having her babies but seems to split most of her time between their New York City apartment and Miami mansion, which they just sold.
The selling of the house sparked the first whiff of divorce rumours (as dividing assets is usually pretty high on the separation to-do list), but this week TMZ boldly reported that Joe Jonas had requested his team find a divorce lawyer.
“Joe had his people contact and consult with at least two L.A.-area divorce lawyers and he is on the cusp of filing divorce docs to end his marriage to Sophie,” a source allegedly close to the singer told TMZ. The outlet also claimed that Joe and Sophie have had “serious problems” for the last six months – and pointed out that Joe has occasionally been seen without his ring over the past few weeks.
But while doing some deep Instagram stalking, I can spy Joe flashing his wedding ring in multiple photos – most recently in this snap of him, Kevin and Nick chilling by the fire in Texas.

And in the six-month window that they’ve supposedly had “serious problems”, Sophie was spotting fangirling HARD in the audience of the Jonas Brothers’ New York show.

And then of course I snooped into why they were selling their Miami house and it seems like it’s more of a house-flip situation, as the couple renovated their home and are selling it for more cashola.
So, for a moment it looked like this wasn’t divorce. But then new headlines hit. TMZ has now reported that Joe filed divorce documents which have been “obtained by TMZ”. The outlet hasn’t published the actual documents and instead has chosen to leak little slices of the alleged legal docs.
No official statement has been released by either Joe or Sophie, but I’m anticipating some kind of on-stage announcement or notes app statement coming our way shortly.
