The Awkward Detail We’ve Just Spotted In Tammy Hembrow’s Proposal Post
Influencer Tammy Hembrow and Love Island’s Matt Zukowski are getting hitched. The pair, who have only been dating for about three months, recently got engaged during a whirlwind holiday to the Maldives.
Matt’s extravagant way of popping the question is everything an influencer with 17.6 million followers requires, and it low-key reminded me of Travis Barker’s rose-filled beach proposal to Kourtney Kardashian.
The couple were having a romantic beach-side dinner surrounded by candles and fairy lights, with a heart dug into the sand framing their table. When Matt got down on one knee, Tammy turned away in shock before cuddling her new fiancé.

Tammy shared the video of the moment with a caption, saying: “Never in my life have I felt so loved, so understood, so cared for. What a plot twist you were.”
Tammy’s Instagram post was flooded with comments from all her celeb pals, including one from MAFS’ Claire Nomarhas. “This is so gorgeous! Well done Matt, congratulations you guys,” she wrote.
What does Tammy Hembrow’s engagement ring look like?
Matt chose an elegant oval-cut diamond ring for his new fiancée, and she showed it off by placing it next to her tiny Matt tattoo on her hip.

The reality TV star shared a carousel of photos on Instagram with a sweet caption: “I never understood the saying ‘When you know, you know’ –until now. Here’s to forever with you.”
Tammy commented twice on Matt’s post, saying she loved him “sooo freaking much” and that she “can’t wait” to marry him.
The strange detail in Tammy Hembrow and Matt Zukowski’s proposal.
I spotted an odd detail in her video though… her choice of song seemed a tad inappropriate. The fitness influencer chose ‘Another Love’ by Tom Odell to compliment her dreamy proposal, but this particular song is about wanting desperately to be with somebody else.
Look at the lyrics: “I wanna sing a song that’d be just ours / But I sang ‘em all to another heart / And I wanna cry, I wanna fall in love / But all my tears have been used up.” Eek.
Tom previously told Interview that it’s not a conventional love song, so this isn’t even speculation. “‘Another Love’ is a confusing one; it’s not a traditional love song, for me, is about trying – really trying with all your heart – to be with someone else and you want to be with someone else,” he explained.
“The song was written talking to this girl that I really wanted to be with, and I was trying to work out why I couldn’t be with her. It’s funny, people sometimes listen to it as [though] I’m more talking about the last romance.”
Now, this feels like an important time to mention that this is Tammy’s third engagement. She’s had a string of quite serious relationships that have involved proposals, so it feels particularly odd to choose a song about “another love” when she’s saying yes to ‘forever ‘with Matt.
Followers shade Tammy for her quick engagement.
While Tammy’s influencer and celeb friends were overjoyed for the couple, her followers were quick to poke fun at her tendency to get engaged.
The first proposal she accepted was from Reece Hawkins, whom she has two children with. The second came from Matt Poole – the father of her daughter Posy – but their relationship appeared to end in September 2022.

“People out here finding the love of their life six times but I still can’t find mine once,” one person joked in the comments.
“She about to have more rings than Michael Jordan by the end of it,” another joked.
“She is truly loved because I swear seems like every man with her wants to be her husband!! I need to know the secret,” a third added.
I could go on forever about the hilarious comments people have been leaving for the lovebirds, but there was one in particular that caught my eye. This fan floated the idea of getting Tammy her own reality show, and the way I would be SEATED quick smart for that.
