Whether you’re watching The Bachelor or taking part, this show will either make you believe in love, or think it’s an absolute lie. The reality series has left a lot of broken hearts in its path and no one’s heart got smashed quite as hard as Brittany Hockley’s.

Brittany famously made it to the final two on Nick ‘Honey Badger’ Cummins’ season, but he decided to just GTFO without choosing either Britt or Sophie Tieman. Both of the women were obviously rather pissed off after such a shitshow of a season and it turns out, Brittany channelled her frustrations into a letter for the next batch of contestants.

In a recent episode of her podcast Life Uncut, which she hosts with fellow Bachy legend Laura Byrne, Brittany revealed that in her final days in The Bachelor mansion, she left a parting gift. “When I was on The Bachelor, and I was the last person basically in the mansion — well, I was, I was the last person in the mansion — I wrote a note to the next lot of people that I knew were about to come in, so all the boys I knew were about to come in and film Bachelorette,” she began.

“I wrote them a note because I was in this mansion alone, with a minder, so I was like, ‘Oh my god, I need to warn people!'”

Brittany then went on to reveal the hilarious contents of her letter. “I wrote a note, it was like, ‘Run now, trust no one.’ I was like ‘Fucking everyone’s out to get you, people will pretend to be your friend and they’re not’, all these points.

Then I hid it under one of the bunk beds, ‘cos we were in bunk beds. I was on the bottom bunk and I put it under one of the slats [above], and what I did was I just left the tiniest bit of the paper out, so when the next guy was lying there, looking up, there’s no way he wouldn’t see it and pull it out. I was like ‘This is my cheat sheet to you guys.’ I think I called it a cheat sheet: how to get through, what to do, and what not to do.”

This is so messy, I’m obsessed!

Brittany added she had spoken to someone from Ali Oetjen’s cast (which followed Honey B’s season) to ask if anyone had found the note, but couldn’t get a conclusive answer. “If there’s any way that anyone listening can get this out to all of the boys, I want to know if anyone actually did find it,” she joked.

I, for one, simply have to see this note if it’s the last thing I do here on this earth.
