Tonight’s ‘The Bachelor’ Retold Via Hilarious Tweets

For a The Bachelor episode that followed one contestant calling another a “c*nt“, you would have hoped for more drama to have played out tonight.

But alas, aside from Holly briefly addressing the argument at the beginning of the episode, there was very little talk of #c*ntgate. Instead, the woman who dropped the C-Bomb, Steph, got to spend some time with Jimmy, as she was picked for the solo date to go in a flight simulator. This sounds like a terribly boring date to me, but Steph seemed to vibe it — as we know, she is rather knowledgable about piloting after all! Jimmy and Steph were actually cute together, with Steph getting a rose and a pash.

The group date had Jimmy topless on the beach donning yellow speedos for a lifesaving challenge. Jimmy invited his mate, Finn, to head up two teams of women competing to win a rose from Jimmy. Finn was most charmed by Tatum, a contestant apparently on this show. Holly swallowed saltwater during the swimming task which led to her being seen by a medic, while Tatum got very suspicious that Holly was playing up her illness just to get Jimmy’s attention.

It’s hard to know whether Holly really was unwell or not, but it did remind me of the time I said I couldn’t swim in the ocean on a school camp because I didn’t have my asthma puffer, then my teacher reminded me I didn’t have asthma.

That’s still not the point, Mr. Cogan!

Another week of Bachy is here! Holly is trying to move on from the c*nt drama, and she says she plans to avoid Steph. Lucky for her (but also unlucky), Steph got picked to leave the mansion on a solo date with Jimmy.

They go in a flight simulator, they flirt up a storm, then a disaster hits the (fake) flight but Jimmy helps Steph land the plane safely. Jimmy asked Steph if she has reservations about dating a pilot again, but she assured him she won’t judge him based on past experiences. They share a kiss and Steph got a rose.

The group date saw all the women meet a bunch of lifesavers at the beach, including Jimmy and his friend Finn who both volunteer. They competed in a relay with a series of lifesaver drills.

Holly swallowed saltwater while competing so she got taken to see a medic. Sounds fake but OK! Tatum suspected Holly was milking it to get more attention from Jimmy.

After consulting his mate, Finn, Jimmy chose Tatum as the challenge winner and she received a rose.

For no explicable reason in 2021, the girls dressed up as their “spirit animal” for the cocktail party. Big yikes. Channel 10, do better!

At the rose ceremony, Elena is left without a rose. We hardly knew thee.
