Everything We Know About Rumoured ‘The Bachelor’ Runner-Up Brooke Cleal
She might be positioned as The Bachelor’s token stage-five clinger, but rumours suggest that Brooke Cleal might be heading all the way to the finale.
According to New Idea, the 27-year-old occupational therapist from Victoria is expected to battle it out against Holly Kingston for Jimmy Nicholson’s heart. Brooke is second favourite to win on Sportsbet, and tbh, it checks out. Aside from Holly, so far this season Brooke has spent the most time with our Bachy. She got the season’s first date, which on previous seasons has been given to runner-up contestants — like 2016’s Nikki Gogan.
So what do we know about Brooke, aside from the fact she’s one of the positive and excitable contestants to ever grace our TV screens?
She’s a massive dog lover, owning two chocolate brown Spoodles, so she’s a woman after my own heart. Her Instagram is filled with happy snaps from her travels all around the world, visiting tourist attractions in Paris and Switzerland. Brooke has also travelled through Southeast Asia, posting pics from a full moon party in Thailand, along with photos captured in Vietnam and Cambodia.

According to Brooke’s bio, she’s an extremely active person who loves participating in pilates, HIIT, or any team sports. When asked where she sees herself in 10 years, Brooke said, “Being in a beautiful, healthy relationship with someone who loves me for me, and vice versa. Well-travelled with this person, married and ready to commence a family.” I don’t know why but “commence a family” has truly sent me.
Brooke applied for The Bachelor to “find someone who shares the same passion and excitement for love, and experience an unforgettable, raw connection.” She described her ideal man’s personality as an easygoing “alpha male — quiet confidence, smart, ambitious, athletic but very cheeky too,” while when it comes to looks, she goes for a “tall man, with green/blue hazel eyes, brown hair and athletic.” Specific, but OK!
Brooke is open to marriage, but only with the right person. “If it’s meant to be, it’s meant to be. I’d rather be single for the rest of my life than marry someone I’m unsure about.” Amen sister.
