Everything We Know About Rumoured ‘The Bachelor’ Winner Holly Kingston
Entering to wifey music and sneaking a date on the red carpet, Holly Kingston will be one to watch on this year’s The Bachelor.
Jimmy Nicholson was immediately charmed upon meeting Holly, who organised a wine bar date on the red carpet. “Having this little sit down with Holly over a glass of wine, I’m just feeling really relaxed. It’s flirty, it’s fun. This feels like a real first date,” he said during the premiere.
Holly is already the favourite to win, according to both Sportsbet and TAB, so it’s probably worth getting to know the 27-year-old Sydneysider. Holly is a marketing manager at Fox & Dove clothing boutique, which has two stores in Bondi and Mosman. But is that Holly’s only profession? As soon as she debuted on the season, fans quickly dug up Holly’s old IMDb page, which showed that she has previous acting credits. An actress? Cast on a reality show? Escándalo!

Yes, Holly has acted before but she’s only starred in one ABC3 teen drama back in 2015 called Ready for This. In the single season series — which followed a group of teens living in a hostel together — Holly played a small part for nine episodes.
Holly being accused of lying about her job is not the only controversy she’s found herself in. An image on her Instagram captioned “#MAGA” had viewers questioning whether she was a Donald Trump supporter, with the MAGA slogan more recently associated with far-right political sentiments and white supremacy.

Holly has set the record straight, explaining her thought process behind the post. “This comment in no way, shape or form is an accurate representation of my political beliefs,” Holly said in a Channel 10 statement. “The comment I made on my Instagram caption from 2018 which made reference to US politics, was made in jest and with complete sarcasm intended. It’s fairly evident I use satire a lot on my social media platforms.”
Aside from cracking bad jokes on her Instagram, her feed is filled with a familiar face: E! Australia host, Francesca Hung. The two appear to be besties, so Holly is clearly no stranger to the spotlight.

So is Holly looking for a guy who will take her on glamorous dates to match her lifestyle? Not so much! She described her perfect date as, “I love the simple stuff! My dream date is a morning walk to the beach with a coffee in hand. If we want to step that up a notch, I also love a date that involves drinks, a comedy show and an awesome dinner at a little hole in the wall cozy Italian restaurant,” she told Punkee. “A night full of belly laughs with a good glass of red in hand is a win for me.”
As far as what she looks for in a partner, Holly’s needs are pretty standard. “Obviously, you have to be physically attracted to your partner, but a great personality and a killer sense of humour are most important to me! I have a very dry and cheeky sense of humour and I need my guy to both understand that and give it back to me, that’s an absolute MUST. Banter is key!” she said, adding that the first thing she looks for in a man is confidence.
“I love a guy who backs himself! A nice set of arms never go astray either.” Same sis, same.
