‘The Bachelorette’ Won’t Air In 2022 & We’re Not OK
BAD NEWS ALERT!!! The Bachelorette Australia has been paused and we’re so devooo.
Although we’re getting a three-man-led Bachy, TV Tonight reported that Channel 10 will not be giving the girls what they want and will not bring back The Bachelorette for 2022.
Executive Vice President and Chief Content Officer, Paramount Australia and New Zealand, Beverley McGarvey told the online publication, “We probably won’t have an iteration of The Bachelorette that is on air this year.”
Beverley also hinted that a new show dating show, The Real Love Boat, could take The Bachelorette’s place on the Channel 10 roster.
However, it is nice to know that this doesn’t mean the actual end to the show, as Beverley McGarvey assured fans that they recognise The Bachelorette’s success and it’s loyal fanbase. “I think given the environment that we’re in, the audience is telling us they want to see some of those legacy formats move forward a bit, which we really want to do with that show because we really respect the brand and the audience loves it”, McGarvey said.
Honestly, we just want to see the absolute love flourish for a new Bachelorette and we hate that we have to wait another year. Boooooooo!
