Angie Has Finally Revealed Why She Broke Up W/ ‘The Bachelorette’ Winner Carlin
One of our favourite bachelorettes, Angie Kent has finally revealed why she and winner Carlin Sterritt broke up earlier this year.
Angie is currently filming horror movie The Possessed, and spoke to Kyle and Jackie O about the film and, of course, couldn’t avoid questions about Carlin. Angie explained that after filming The Bachelorette, she realised she wasn’t overly compatible with Carlin. “We were so smitten with each other on the show, but we were so different out of the show,” she began.
“I’m always myself, but he got to see me full throttle, and I was stressed after the show too. He was very religious and he had all these ideas that I should be this certain way when I wasn’t. I don’t want to be with somebody who wants me to change. I want somebody to love me for me.”

Angie went on specify that it wasn’t Carlin’s religion that broke them up. “He never wanted me to go to church. We spoke about it and whatnot, whatever, each to their own. If you want to go to church, you do you. I do my moon rituals, everybody’s got their thing. When the full moon comes out, I get my crystals out and set my intentions for the month.”
When asked if she was dating anyone new, Angie didn’t mince her words. “I’m not cuddling with anyone, I’m so boring. I was dating 20 dudes only a year ago, Carlin and I only broke up a few months ago, and I don’t want to jump straight into something else. I don’t know if I [can] trust yet,” she said.
The interview comes as Angie’s runner-up Timm Hanly has been embroiled in controversy this week, for allegedly coaching this year’s The Bachelorette winner Frazer Neate to ensure that he would get to hometowns on this year’s season.
