Yvie Is Here As Angie’s Fairy Godmother In The First ‘Bachelorette’ Promo
Gogglebox faves Yvie and Angie reunited on the couch in the first promo for The Bachelorette – and now they owe us a true fairytale ending.
Against a score of Can’t Take My Eyes Off You (strong Heath Ledger in 10 Things I Hate About You areas), and accompanied by her precious dog Buddy, Angie ponders the age-old question, “Where’s my man at?”
And Yvie appears through the screen! As a fairy godmother! To transform the self-proclaimed “couch potato” in a love heart tee into the Bachelorette, glittering jewellery, strong red lippy, stilettos, fabby red gown and all!
She emerges from her home, rose petals falling, as her fixie is turned into a pumpkin and then a limo and driver. “Mr. Right, I’m coming for you!” she gushes.
Here’s hoping this means Yvie has a cameo or two in the new season. And if she’s potentially offering this fairy godmother service more broadly, here’s my number: [REDACTED].

The last time we saw former roomies Yvie and Angie together on our screens was on Celebrity Name Game back in July. In February, they were pitted against each other in the jungles of South Africa on this year’s season of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!.
Angie was revealed as our latest Bachelorette back in March. Here’s what the 29-year-old said at the time:
“I’ve always been the gal who loves to make everyone laugh, but now I reckon it’s time to have someone laugh with me, rather than at me. My heart is full, and after years of experiencing all life has to offer I finally have enough self-love and I’m open to all of life’s amazing possibilities. So, if 20 or so fellas want to get to know me and potentially end up being my partner in life and love – I say ‘why not?! Who am I to turn down the chance to find love?! Let’s give it a red hot go!'”
Talking to 10 daily, Angie said she’s looking for “laughter and passion”: “I want a man just to laugh with, to share each other’s lives with. Just to be happy together.”
