Osher Günsberg Dragged Shannon Noll After Last Night’s ‘The Masked Singer’ Reveal
WE DID IT! Punkee predicted that Australian icon Shannon Noll would be Blowfly on The Masked Singer, BUT we did not predict that host, Osher Günsberg, would drag Nollsy on Twitter for losing again in a reality TV song contest.
Nollsy was revealed to be Blowfly after he was chosen to “take it off” when up against Snapdragon, and fans were pleasantly surprised to see a familiar face once again on their screens. But as the episode came to a close, Osher took to Twitter to unleash one of the biggest burns ever.
The host wrote the below tweet and OUCH!
Twice in one career, I've denied Shannon a TV victory.
Sorry mate.
But it's some kind of an achievement I guess.

To give you some quick context as to why this could potentially be the biggest drag in Australian pop culture history: Osher (then known as Andrew G) hosted one of Australia’s biggest song contest shows, Australian Idol. In its first season, Australia was introduced to Shannon Noll, who eventually made it to the finale. Unfortunately, Nollsy lost to Guy Sebastian, but the singer went on to release massive Aussie hits songs like ‘Lift’ and ‘What About Me?’
On Monday’sThe Masked Singer episode, Shannon would lose again in the presence of Osher, who just had to make it known that Aussie history had repeated itself.

Osher’s reaction to the Nollsy reveal had me in stitches but at the same time, like let Nollsy have his time in the sun ploise!
The Masked Singer fans took to Twitter to showcase their support for the Australian icon, with many of them showing their excitement to see Nollsy once again on their television screens.
Never been so happy for someone to lose the competition. Now we FINALLY get to see Nollsy unmasked… ?#MaskedSingerAU pic.twitter.com/94qQFQPbE7

Wow, I’m actually watching Shannon Noll bust out ‘You Give Love a Bad Name’ while dressed in a fly costume as sexy frog girls slut-drop around him… #MaskedSingerAU ? pic.twitter.com/njEbvlFtyN

Regardless of his loss, Shannon Noll will always be a winner in our eyes.
I will never forget his performance to Kid Laroi’s ‘Stay’ with his backup thotty frogs. Icon behaviour.
