As The Voice departs from Channel 9 and finds a new home on Channel 7, the show is also getting a fresh batch of coaches.

In fact, the coaching panel is only going to remain 25% similar to last season, as the Seven Network has revealed what’s nearly a brand new lineup. We’ll miss you, Delta.

The Voice’s New Lineup

Donning the spinning, red chairs for this season will be multiple ARIA and GRAMMY Award winner Keith Urban, the queen of the who’s Rita Ora, triple-threat Jessica Mauboy and of course, one of Australia’s best-selling singer-songwriters Guy Sebastian.

Notably, Guy Sebastian and Jessica Mauboy are two Aussie icons who have made it big through an Australian reality-singing show. However, where Guy has been a judge on The X Factor and The Voice for the past few years, Jessica Mauboy will be making her coaching debut on The Voice. Regardless, these two have been the most iconic alumni to come out of Australian Idol, so Channel 7 did well getting these icons.

Even though the show’s popularity has declined over the years, as Channel 9 made abundantly clear in September, maybe this line-up will mark a change. This season marks the 10th season of The Voice Australia and will be hosted by Sonia Kruger.

Each of the four judges has commented on how excited they are to tackle the judging panel for this season. Check it out:

Keith Urban

“The stars have finally aligned again! Ten years after spinning in the first season, and just before getting back on stage around the world, I’ve been invited back alongside a very cool and musically diverse panel.”

Rita Ora

“I love The Voice and I absolutely adore Australia so this is a match made in heaven. Having been a coach on the UK series, I know just how powerful it can be in making dreams come true. I can’t wait to find Australia’s next superstar.”

Guy Sebastian

The Voice

“The evolution of The Voice in 2021 is genuinely exciting. I am so happy to be working alongside these amazing coaches. I have known Jess for a long time, I am a huge admirer of Keith, and Rita is a great talent. I really feel like this panel will genuinely nurture a new generation of artists.”

Jessica Mauboy

The Voice

“I’m so proud of the talent that exists in this country. I know firsthand exactly how life-changing a show like this can be, so I’m honoured to be part of such an experienced team of coaches and I’m looking forward to some amazing chair-turning moments.”

While there is no official premiere date, it looks like The Voice will hit our screens in February next year. Will you be watching?
