WATCH: Trailer For Netflix’s ‘The End Of The F***ing World’ Looks Dark AF
The latest Netflix offering is bringing a very different kind of teen romance to our screens. An adaption of the popular British award-winning graphic novel The End of the F***ing World, the new series is set to become our new obsession and next binge sesh.
The dark comedy novel by Charles Forsman created controversy when it was released in the U.K. last year. The story follows self-labelled psychopath James (Alex Lawther from The Imitation Game) and Alyssa (Jessica Barden from Penny Dreadful) on an unexpected journey, which so happens to involve a handful of murder plots. Just teen stuff.
It’s a classic tale of boy meets girl, boy plans to kill girl etc..etc. The plot follows the two teenagers as they embark on a macabre road trip in search of a better life as they come to ahead with impending doom – a.k.a literally how we all feel heading into 2018.
The series drops on Netflix on 5 January, 2018.
