This film is an important reminder of an event in American history that could have changed everything, that should have changed everything, but didn’t. Newtown takes viewers into the homes and lives of three families who lost children, as well as the teachers, neighbours and others in the aftermath of the events of 14 December 2012, where 20 children and 6 adults were killed by Adam Lanza at Sandy Hook Elementary School.
