6. Kedi

Another one for the animal-appreciator. In the ancient city of Istanbul, cats have roamed the streets freely for thousands of years, not as strays or house cats, instead they wander spontaneously in and out of the lives of the residents of this bustling city at will, and enjoy open access to cafés, markets and homes. Kedi follows seven of the city’s cats – Bengü, Deniz, Duman, Gamsiz, Rat Catcher, Yellow and Psycho – giving the viewer an insight into what it’s like to be a cat in Istanbul, in this fascinating documentary following street-smart floofs.
