Wahoo! Virtual Reality Mario Kart Is Launching Tomorrow And It Looks Wild
Mario Kart is hands down the greatest group party game ever invented and as of tomorrow, it’s going fully VR. Unfortunately, you’ll only be able to play it in Japan (of course) – so it’s officially time to start packing.
Nintendo are actually suing the company behind the new experience which will open its doors at Shinjuku’s VR Zone tomorrow. You might be able to guess why.
Players will able to hook themselves into the game via VR helmet gear where we believe they’ll sit in an actual cart while having a first player perspective. Imagine steering that cart and actually piffing turtle shells at ya m8’s.
If you’re thinking this sounds like its probably some overrated gimmick, think again. The VR zone have dropped a trailer with some of the gameplay and holly shitballs, this looks totally insane:
The attraction also boasts other games which include Dragon Ball Z and Ghost in the Shell-themed attractions opening soon. There’s also a range of other crazy experiences that’ll tease your brain like these bonkers. We wanna go there noooow.
