The Trailer For ‘You’ Season 4 Has Dropped And OMG, Joe Has A Stalker

Netflix’s iconic stalker thriller series, You, has finally dropped its trailer for Season 4 Part One, and it looks like the tables have turned with Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) becoming the stalked.

To give you a quick rundown on what happened in the previous season, Joe was presumed dead after killing his wife Love (Victoria Pedretti) and burning their house down, but in the final scene, the serial killer is spotted in Paris. In this new season, Joe is living under a new identity as Professor Jonathan Moore in London.

In the freshly dropped trailer, we are greeted with a bunch of new faces, thrilling chase scenes, and the return of Joe’s (whoops, I mean Jonathan’s) creepy baseball cap.

First up, we see the return of Marienne, who Joe fell in love with over the course of Season 3. ICYMI: Marienne ran away from Joe after Love warned her about his true identity and murderous past.

Marienne appears multiple times in the trailer and there’s even a moment where she confronts Joe, labelling him as a “murderer.” Joe replied to Marienne’s claim saying, “You’re wrong about me. I will prove it to you.” Umm.. sure, not like we’re keeping count on how many people you’ve killed, Joe.

We know from a previous teaser that Joe has taken up a career in education, but it also looks like he will be playing a second role of an amateur detective. In the new trailer, one character is heard telling him to stop playing a “shitty Sherlock”.

Another detail in the trailer that’s got us hyped up for this season is Joe’s new friends. In the trailer, Joe says that he has fallen in with England’s super rich kids, labelling the people around him as ,”the most insane, damaged people on earth. A circle of privileged douchebags.” And OFC with Joe being surrounded by the elite, a new serial killer is on the loose who is dubbed the “eat the rich killer” (iconic name btw) who is presumedly targeting people in Joe’s newfound circle.

Not much else has been said about this new murderer but we do know that they have already taken two lives with a news report in the trailer saying, “police are continuing to investigate a second murder among the elite.” Jinkies!

Joe also has another woman to obsess over in mysterious British lady played by Fresh Meat actress Charlotte Ritchie. But the MOST exciting part is definitely Joe being stalked!!! We’re honestly so obsessed with this storyline and we’re so keen to see who this stalker is and what their intentions are. Could it be the eat the rich killer? IDK but we love a moment when the tables are turned on the main character.

All will be revealed on February 9 when You Season 4 Part One premiers on Netflix. Season 4 Part Two is set to drop a month later on March 9.

We’re so keen to see Joe back and all the chaos he brings alongside his manky, creepy baseball cap.
