Seems like You is following in the steps of its deeply creepy antagonist Joe Goldberg and firmly refusing to go away.

Yep, earlier today, Netflix confirmed that the third season of the breakout hit is coming — and soon.

That’s not much of a surprise. Since the first season dropped on Netflix, You has inspired legions of admirers, not to mention an entire galaxy of conspiracy theories and memes. It’s a show finely-tuned to get people obsessed — ironically, given the subject matter — and audiences have been clamouring for more of it since mid-2018.

Oh, and then there’s that cliffhanger of an ending for season two, a strong suggestion that things are only in a position to get creepier.

The announcement for season three is very much on the vague side — little more than an eight second promise that the series is coming in “the New Year”. Here’s to hoping that means 2021 rather than like, 2025.

Much like a single-minded stalker, we’ll keep you up to date as more information is forthcoming.
