Zac Efron is sporting a whole new look for his role as Kevin Von Erich, aka The Golden Warrior, in the action-packed biographical film The Iron Claw, and the reactions are golden.
His latest movie is set to follow the life of the notorious wrestling Von Erich family and the tragedies they faced. Alongside Zac, the movie will star Lily James, Harris Dickinson, and Jeremy Allen White.

Kevin Von Erich, the wrestler that Zac is playing, spoke out about the casting choice, telling TMZ, “I saw a picture of the guy (Zac), he looked great. Man, I don’t think I’ve ever looked that good.”
Zac first rose to prominence when he scored the lead role in the High School Musical trilogy as Troy Bolton. Since then, Zac went on to star in a bunch of other movies, including 17 Again, Bad Neighbours and The Greatest Showman.

Earlier this year, Zac got candid about ‘jaw-gate’, where fans accused him of having plastic surgery on his face. The ex-Disney star revealed to Men’s Health that he had surgery after he broke his jaw while “running through his house in socks”.
There’s no official release date for The Iron Claw, but it’s expected that the movie will debut some time next year.
