Abbie Chatfield Has Slammed Kyle Sandilands & Brittany Hockley For “Slut Shaming”
Abbie Chatfield has put Kyle Sandilands and Brittany Hockley on blast on her It’s A Lot podcast, labelling their interview with Yung Gravy as “slut shamey.”
To give you a quick rundown of everything that has happened, about a month ago Kyle and Brittany were joined by US rapper, Yung Gravy, for their morning radio show on KIIS106.5.
During the interview, Yung Gravy mentioned Abbie Chatfield and how he has “a relationship beginning” with the podcast star.
Kyle replied to Gravy’s comment by saying, “Oh Jesus. You and everyone else, so line up, my friend.” Yung Gravy then said, “I think we got a date planned”, and Brittany interjected, saying, “I have no doubt.”
Kyle then went on to say, “Well, you’re more likely to root her [Abbie] than Brittany.”
Although it’s been a while since the rapper spoke to the breakfast show, Abbie has responded to the interview on her It’s A Lot podcast, titling her episode, ‘Expected From Kyle Sandilands But WTF Brittany Hockley?!’
Abbie ripped into both radio hosts for their comments, mentioning that Brittany agreeing with Kyle’s comments is reminiscent of “high school.”
“Kyle is starting all this tone but (for Brittany) to go along with the tone because you have nothing more, sorry, nothing funny to say but like slut shame and say, ‘I have no doubt you’re going on a date with her,’ ” she said. “It’s high school weird sh*t, and it’s also, like, encouraging women to pit themselves against each other.”

Abbie then spoke about Brittany’s intentions during the interview, suggesting that Brittany’s compliance with Kyle’s comments were a “weird jealousy thing”.
“At best, I think Britt is feeling uncomfortable and is nervous about being with Kyle and is going along with it,” Abbie said. “At worst, she’s having this weird jealousy thing and trying to bring me down.”
People have shared their support for Abbie. One Instagram user commented, “Britt has always given ‘pick me’ vibes.”
Married At First Sight star, Domenica Calarco has also shared her support for Abbie while displaying her disappointment for Brittany.
Abbie and Kyle had a mini beef earlier this year after Abbie told The Daily Telegraph that she was “baffled” that Kyle hasn’t been cancelled for using ableists slurs on-air.
The radio hosts had squashed their beef, with Kyle labelling Abbie as a “nice kid” on an episode of The Kyle and Jackie O show.
People are questioning why Kyle still has his slot on breakfast radio (evergreen statement tbh).
Neither Brittany nor Kyle have responded to Abbie’s comments.
