Here’s Absolutely EVERYTHING We Know About ‘Bachelor In Paradise’
Reality TV in 2018 is looking better than ever, with the return of The Bachy and even an Aussie version of Love Island on the way, there’s going to be plenty of trash to feed your guilty pleasures. We are particularly psyched for the Bachelor In Paradise, which we tip will hit our screens in the first half of 2018. We. Can’t. Wait.
The show is promising to bring together the all-stars from past seasons, and we just know it’ll deliver some tasty drama for us to obsess over. Familiar singles roasting in the sun and bottomless booze is sure to bring carnage.
While it was confirmed in October the series would go ahead on Channel Ten, there has been very little further deets on what exactly we can expect. We’ve filtered through the interwebs for as much info as possible on next year’s Bachelor In Paradise and here’s what we know.
Here’s absolutely EVERYTHING we know:
Where is it being filmed?
Several sources have reported the reality series will be filmed in Fiji. New Idea has even specified that the mayhem will all go down at Mango Mango Bay Resort.
It doesn’t look too shabby.
Who will host?
The Bachelor puppeteer himself – Osher Gunsberg – will host the spin-off series. Yaas! Osh will kill it! Meanwhile Bachelorette Sophie Monk will be nowhere to be seen. She’s offish cut all ties to Ten and will be becoming her very own version of Osher on Love Island.
Which ex-bachys will star?
With a bevy of conflicting reports floating all over the place, it’s difficult to nail down exactly who will be on BIP. However, these are the bachys all 100 percent confirmed to be heading to paradise:
Apollo Jackson
Michael Turnbull
Davey Lloyd
Keira Maguire
Tara Pavlovic
Laurina Fleure
But wait… there’s more
These ex-bachys are all heavily rumoured to have also touched down in Fiji for the reality show:
Blake Colman
Sam Cochrane
Luke McLeod
Florence Alexandra Sophia
Leah Costa
Elora Mugler
While unconfirmed, another broken-hearted bachy was spotted heading to Fiji.
Jarrod Woodgate
A season one bachy was also reportedly spotted by Daily Mail in Fiji on a date with Woodgate.
Ali Oetjen
Who won’t be there?
On the flip-side, bachy faves Sasha Mielczarek, Richie Strahan and Nikki Gogan have confirmed that they will not be heading to paradise. Bummer!
When can we expect to see it?
Soon! The series is already filming, with many of the bachys mentioned above already in Fiji.
Tara even posted a cheeky pic from the BIP pool.
So while the network has given a vague AF start date of 2018, we reckon it’ll be sooner than expected and will air prior to The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. To seize on ratings, the series could likely be pitted against Channel Nine’s Married At First Sight, which will hopefully start around March again this year.
We’ll keep you posted, as we live our lives vicariously through these hopeless hopeful singles.
Remember: eat, sleep, BIP, repeat.
