I’m PUMPED, you guys.
Hosted by the glorious Abbie Chatfield (who will surely have her FBoy radar finally tuned now that she’s with legit nice guy boyfriend Adam Hyde), the nine-part second season promises more drama and bigger twists, which is exactly what I like to hear.
If you’re not familiar with the premise of the show, Fboy Island Australia “follows three women on their quest to find love as they attempt to uncover who are the “nice guys” looking for love, and who are the self-proclaimed “FBoys”.”
There are also cash prizes on the line which are at jeopardy if the women pick an FBoy.
JUICY AND FUN.
The first season was hugely popular, (even garnering a nomination for Best Reality Program at the 2024 AACTA Awards), with leads Ziara Rose, Molly O’Halloran and Sophie Blackley supporting each other as they waded through alpha-male BS in pursuit of something real. Something real is exactly what Ziara and Molly found, the two ending up with “nice guys” and in relationships that are still going strong to this day.
So, who are the three lucky women looking for love this year?

The 27-year-old stunner from QLD shares with us in the trailer, “FBoys are definitely my forbidden fruit. So, it’s time to switch diets,” and while I don’t usually support diet culture, I back this. We also see her calling someone out for being “incredibly disrespectful,” which I’m certain they deserved.

A familiar face! You may recognise this 28-year-old cutie from her stint on The Bachelors Australia. She dated Felix Von Hofe so she knows a thing or two about dating FBoys. Let’s hope attempt number two goes more smoothly for this gorgeous gal!

The beautiful 26-year-old from VIC tells us she deserves “to be heard and not just seen” in the show’s trailer, and I want that for her too. Further, we see her taking a minute and walking off-set during one of the elimination ceremonies, and I already need to know WHY.

While the show has silly skits and takes the piss at the expense of the FBoys, it has a surprising amount of heart. Abbie is the perfect host, seamlessly roasting the bad behaviour of the men and supporting the leads by talking through their dates, analysing the contestant’s actions and encouraging the women to stay true to themselves.
“The stories along the way are way more complex and I think the three leading women did such an amazing job at supporting each other, really doing detective work and being steadfast,” she told The Daily Telegraph about season two. “They had some hard conversations with each other along the way as well, which I think is what real friendship is all about.”
FBoy Island Australia Season Two will be available to stream on Binge and Foxtel from August 5th.
