Janelle From ‘MAFS’ Has Finally Given Us Tea On Those Jesse Rumours
Ahh those Married at First Sight scoundrels love to keep us guessing on all their spicy, secret relationships post-experiment.
Whether it’s the dating rumours between Duncan and Evelyn, Lyndall and Josh, or Tayla and Cam, this season has seen many MAFS fans questioning what’s happened post-experiment with some of the contestants.
A while back, there were rumours of Janelle and Jesse potentially being more than just friends, after they were spotted in Perth looking cosy. Of course, while on the show, the two bonded when their respective partners Adam and Claire cheated on them during a night out by sharing a sneaky pash.
Since they were conveniently papped in Perth, the two haven’t said much about their relationship or friendship, or whatever TF it is. Until now…
At an event for Yahoo’s All-Star MAFS Reunion, Janelle finally addressed the dating rumours when Evelyn asked if the two really did date/hook-up, or if it was all just a publicity stunt.
“Me and Jesse got really close,” the TikTok star said. “We did have a bit of a trauma bond and, he might hate me, but we have shared a peck. Just an innocent little peck.”
Janelle said once the experiment stopped filming, she got to understand and know Jesse on a deeper level. “I got to see more layers to him, I understood he was more of an emotionally intelligent person,” she said. “Things I saw in my own personality, I saw in him, and I started admiring him a lot.”

However, it looks like the two are now just mates but maybe never say never?
“[The kiss] might have been friendly, it might have been romantic, I’m not sure. But we have had the conversation that we weren’t going to pursue anything because I moved to Sydney,” Janelle clarified. “So at the moment, we’re just really good friends.”
“Please don’t hate me Jesse!” Janelle added.
