Ever since Betty, Veronica, Jughead and Archie broke into our lives through Netflix’s Archie Comics inspired series Riverdale, I just can’t get them out of my head.

The first season of Riverdale has became nothing short of a phenomenon and it’s runaway success made a second season a given.

Especially when news of alternative endings, upcoming twists and rumoured storylines continue to spark headlines. Netflix was quick to pounce on its momentum and quickly confirmed it would return soon…like later this year soon!

Now, Riverdale season two has JUST started to shooting and the leaked set pics are already incoming.

There’s obvious spoilers ahead, so proceed with caution.

Here’s what’s been leaked so far and what it could mean for the Riverdale gang:

Veronica and Archie appear to still be a couple – lookin’ all sweet and loved up.

Welcome back BUGHEAD! Together again.

Photographed together on set, showrunner Robert Aguirre Sacasa has confirmed Josie and Reggie (new Reggie) are going to date in the coming season. Cute!

But what’s this? Jughead and Archie are dressed in formal wear, err and wearing Scottish kilts.

The whole gang is dressed up. Could this be for a wedding… or a funeral?

Let’s just take a moment to appreciate this:

AJ Kappa funny face

It’s a wedding! But who is getting hitched?

Well, what the hell? Veronica has been spotted wearing a wedding dress.

Yep, it’s definitely a bridal gown and she’s looking gorg!

Is Betty the wedding photographer, or wut?

Not sure what’s happening here with Betty and Archie, since he’s you know, about to marry her BFF. Bad Archiekins.

Although it’s probz important to note that dead Jason Blossom was also there – so the entire wedding could be a flashback or dream sequence.

Here’s Jason again, walking around all alive and stuff.

Obvs, this is all just wild speculation at this point, but luckily we don’t have to wait too long.

Season two is hitting Netflix on October 11 this year. BRING IT ON!
