‘Love Is Blind’ Cuties Deepti And Kyle Have Confirmed Their Current Relationship Status
Love Is Blind’s only remaining Season 2 couple — Deepti Vempati and Kyle Abrams — have just confirmed they’ve split. Oop!
While Deepti and Kyle were engaged to different people on the reality show, they ended up striking a close friendship after the series wrapped which blossomed into an official relationship, as seen on Love Is Blind: After The Altar.
However, it wasn’t meant to be. Deepti dropped the news that she had broken up with Kyle via a video on Instagram with a collage of photos of herself and Kyle together — a breakup montage if you will.
“Kyle and I are now walking different paths and are no longer together,” Deepti wrote. “We couldn’t share these memories over the past year so sharing them now. Thank you all for your continued love and support.”
Kyle also shared a statement to Instagram confirming the split and revealing he’s since started dating someone new.

If I’m able to wildly speculate, I’d hazard a guess that this breakup wasn’t exactly amicable, as typically reality couples release a joint breakup statement. Deepti and Kyle’s posts couldn’t be more different. Awks!
Deepti was initially matched with controversial contestant Abhishek ‘Shake’ Chatterjee on Season 2, but she rejected him at the altar. Fans applauded Deepti’s decision after witnessing several episodes of Shake criticising Deepti’s appearance, along with making body-shaming comments in the pods.
Kyle had a short-lived engagement to Shaina Hurley and they split after their honeymoon due to religious differences. It also didn’t help matters that Shaina was hung up on Shayne Jansen, who happened to be engaged to Natalie Lee.
Sparks first flew between Deepti and Kyle at the Season 2 reunion when Kyle admitted he regretted not proposing to Deepti in the pods. They spent most of After The Altar toiling with the idea of turning their close friendship into a relationship, with the season ending with the Love Is Blind stars deciding to become boyfriend/girlfriend.
But sadly, the Season 2 curse is too powerful. The split follows both 2022 married couples — Iyanna McNeely and Jarrette Jones, along with Danielle Ruhl and Nick Thompson — both announcing their divorces last month.

Luckily for us, a whole new bunch of singles are heading to the altar with Season 3 dropping on October 19 on Netflix.
