Why Is No One Talking About This Suss Bath Scene Between Mitch & Callum On ‘Love Island’?

Ex-Week on Love Island has seen many explosive moments, but why is no one talking about that super suss bath scene between Mitch and Callum? 

Most of the connections made on Love Island are romantic; after all, it is a reality TV dating show. But what really triumphs over a steamy relationship is a beautiful, entertaining friendship. 

On this season of Love Island, there are a lot of friendships blossoming, like Claudia and Jess, and Layla and Phoebe, but the most iconic duo is definitely Mitch and Callum. 

Although we have our reservations about both boys, especially Callum, who we’ve called a walking red flag multiple times, the two of them together are hilarious. 

One of the biggest – and toxic – displays of their friendship is when Mitch backed up Callum during his heated argument with Claudia in regards to her ex Jason, who just entered the villa as a bomb.

But their bromance has definitely levelled up this week with a particular scene in my mind that I cannot get out of my head. 

The bath scene. 

To give you a bit of a recap, the boys had a men’s movement moment, where they reflected on their emotions. The idea was from our fave mullet boy, Jordan, and the whole scene was wholesome AF. 

Jordan also said that “nature felt their [the boys’] energy” in the movement circle because a butterfly flew amongst them during their reflection time. How beautiful.

After the movement circle, Callum and Mitch had a little chat about Phoebe, who was out on a one-on-one date with last year’s winner, Mitch Hibberd. 

In order to cheer him up, Callum suggested they have a little “bro bath”, and this is where things get absolutely chaotic. 

They grabbed what they could and combined them in hopes of making the frothiest bath ever, and it looks like they took a bunch of expensive products from the girls. Yikes! 

Now before anyone comes for me about best friends having a little bath together, I agree, it is a normal thing to do. 

HOWEVER, can we have eyes on these hand gestures? Not sure about you guys, but the motions caught me off guard. 

According to the narrator, the bros of Love Island allegedly spent hours together in the extra frothy bath. 

This scene is extremely reminiscent of Kath and Kel when they take baths together.

With so many dramatic things happening on Love Island including three exes dropping into the villa, I just can’t BELIEVE we’re not talking about this truly awkward (but iconic) bath scene that cut through the tension of Ex-Week. 

OK, so the hand motions may have been quite spicy! But it’s always nice to see a healthy bromance form on a reality show, whether it be in the tub or a healing circle. Stay wholesome, lads.
