Callum From ‘Love Island’ Is A Major Red Flag And You Can’t Change My Mind

This season of Love Island Australia has stood out from the rest of the other seasons for many, many reasons.

Firstly, it features the return of two reality TV stars, Al Perkins from Married At First Sight and Vakoo Kauapirura from The Bachelor, and it is the first season to be pre-recorded. However, in this season, it seems like the f*ckboy levels have reached new heights! Red flags are everywhere! 

In case you’ve never watched the show, Love Island hosts hot singles who are looking for love in a villa. Each week there is a coupling ceremony and someone gets eliminated. They can be eliminated for failing to be in a relationship or due to their popularity. Established couples are put to the test when new singles, aka bombs, come through the villa.

Callum Hole was a bomb who entered the villa alongside Tak Chipangura, and ever since I laid eyes on this man, I knew he was a red flag.

Despite him being a complete himbo, like mistaking fashionista with “fashion oyster” and pawns as “prawns”, he has displayed some really toxic behaviour when it comes to relationships.

Here are some of the biggest red flag moments from Callum on Love Island:

 1. When Callum admitted he only liked women for their looks and that he would use a woman as a pawn to get to someone who he thinks is hotter.

One of the first moments where Callum revealed his true colours was when he shared what he looked for in a woman.

“It’s all about looks,” Callum confessed.”Personality would never attract me first. I always gotta have somebody that looks the part”.

In the next scene, Callum talked about how he would use a ‘minger’ to get to a hotter girl. “If you go into a bar and you see all these birds, you’re not gonna go and just talk to the minger first…Unless the minger is part of the group of the girl you want. Then you give her the attention because then the girl you want gets a bit jealous.”

Sheesh. I really hope no one takes this advice IRL.

Claudia, who was present during Callum’s little spill sesh, dished out everything he said to the rest of the girls in the villa. She even warned them by labeling him “the biggest red flag you could imagine.”

However, it seemed like Claudia’s warning went over a bunch of people’s heads, including Jess, who attempted to grab Callum at the next recoupling ceremony.

2. When Callum led Jess on before the recoupling ceremony but ditched her for Layla.

During his first couple of days, Callum made moves on Jess. At one point he chose her for a one-on-one date, and before the second recoupling ceremony, the pair shared a smooch in front of Jess’ ex-partner, Conor.

But unfortunately for Jess, she was led on by Callum, with the Welshman picking Layla over her and it was awkward.

I mean, look at her face!

Jess then admitted that Callum’s choice “blindsided” her during her confessional in the beach hut.

But don’t worry, Jess, you won’t be the only one who gets emotionally f*cked over by this pool boy…

3. When Calum made Mitch do a naughty dare with Phoebe H and the OG Phoebe broke down after walking in on them. Callum then forced Mitch to finish off the dare despite Phoebe running away crying.

The villa was recently rocked with two bombs, Vakoo and Phoebe H, and Callum didn’t waste any time in getting to know both of these ladies.

In a secret sexy game of truth or dare between Vakoo, Phoebe H, Mitch, and Callum, shit hit the fan between Mitch and his current partner, OG Phoebe.

Now bear with me as I try to explain what happened, because there are two Phoebe’s!

Callum dared Phoebe H to lick Mitch from his pants to his chest, and OFC Phoebe H knew that this was gonna start some beef. Before doing the dare Phoebe H asked Mitch, “Is this going to get you in trouble?”. But, alas, they begin the deed.

Phoebe walked in on Phoebe H and Mitch’s dare, which caused her to run away crying. Instead of comforting her, they all giggled. To add more flames to the fire, Callum egged Mitch on to continue with the dare saying, “a dare is a dare.”

4. When Callum tried to downplay his three-way kiss with Vakoo and Phoebe H to Layla, his current partner.

During the truth and dare game, Callum then shared a three-way kiss with both bombs and, Layla, his partner at the time found out.

Layla confronted Callum about his actions, but he put the blame on Mitch, Vakoo, and Phoebe H, saying, “He (Mitch) told me to do it… And them girls would encourage it too!”

Callum then tries to argue that a ‘three-way kiss is better than a one-way kiss’ even though it’s still cheating.

Luckily, Layla calls him out saying “the whole thing is f*cking f*cked.”

5. When Callum made Phoebe H kiss Mitch again after the whole truth and dare scandal.

To make things even WORSE, during a “guess who kissed me” challenge, Callum added more fuel to the fire between Mitch and Phoebe by making Phoebe H kiss Mitch!

Once again, Phoebe is f*cked over by Callum’s actions!

Unfortunately, Layla’s time was up on Love Island when Callum was picked to be Vakoo’s partner.

Despite being saved one more time from being booted from the island, a lot of fans have shared their anger towards Callum and his shit-stirring, f*ckboy ways.

Some fans who are calling out Callum’s toxicity also note that the show wouldn’t be entertaining without him. After all, he is bringing the drama.

To give Callum some slight credit, he did show support for Tak when his mental health took a turn when Vakoo chose Callum over him, but it doesn’t take away his terrible treatment of the women in the villa. Especially Phoebe, who he has screwed over twice.

The man is a walking red flag and we will be avoiding that at all costs.
