“Ex-Week” Just Started On ‘Love Island’ And The First Episode Was Explosive AF
Love Island has begun its “Ex-Week”, and the first episode was super chaotic – it was hard to look away!
Love Island is currently on Season 4, and there have been a bunch of new twists and turns added to its game. As most of you would know, Love Island is a reality TV dating show where singles attempt to find love in a lavish villa. Each week the contestants are coupled up and participate in challenges that can make or break their relationships.
Throughout the show, random singles (aka bombs) also join the villa, which can be detrimental to couples who appear to have established some kind of connection.
To turn up the heat in the villa, Season 4 has invited a bunch of exes to Love Island, with the first one to land being Claudia’s ex, Jason Shtjefni.

Claudia is currently with Austen, and the pair are kind of the IT couple right now, but in last night’s episode, the pair were rocked with the presence of Jason, who’s date Claudia for a week.
Here’s everything we know about Jason and the mess that followed on episode one of “Ex-Week” on Love Island:
Jason’s date with Jess
To kick off Ex-Week, Jess was invited to a one-on-one date via text, and that’s where we got the first glimpse of Jason. The pair got quite flirty, and Jess was feeling his vibe.
When Jess returned to the villa, she started to describe Jason and his dating history to the other contestants.
Upon hearing his description, Claudia then realised that this new bomb could potentially be her ex, which was confirmed once Jess said his name. Dun dun dun!

Jason’s one-on-one with Claudia
Claudia finally faced her fears and had a one-on-one with Jason, where Jason pulled out the “you mum said” move, which I know all too well.
You know when you have an ex trying to enter your life, and they use your family as a segue? Yeah, nah, mate.
To prove my point, Jason kissed Claudia on the forehead, saying, “that’s from your mum…and that was a little bit from me too.”
Jason also told her that her mum said that, ‘Jason and her paths will always be connected.’

Like, Imma need Claudia’s mum to send a text to clarify some things!
Callum solidified himself as Love Island’s shit-stirrer
Callum, the current walking red flag of Love Island, attempted to get to the bottom of things after he had a catch up with Austen and Mitch.
Austen told the boys everything that happened between Jason and Claudia in the one-on-one chat they had, including the forehead kiss and Jason’s relationship with Claudia’s family.
Callum then said he had a “plan of attack” in order to understand where Claudia and her ex currently stand.
After Callum investigated both Jason’s and Claudia’s side of the story, the ex-lovers attempted to sort out what they said to Callum to make sure both stories were correct.
Claudia then realised that there were a bunch of details that weren’t adding up and got angry at Callum’s intervention, saying, “Callum is not in the relationship… Why do we need to bring it up? It’s between Jason and I.”
Callum was then confronted by Claudia with her asking, “where are you [Callum] in this relationship?” before telling him he was shit-stirring.
Callum defended his actions by saying he’s doing it for Austen and his “best interests.”

Maddy then confronted Callum, who is her current partner, saying, “You’re so full of shit… I don’t believe you’re doing this because you’re acting in Austen’s best interest. You’re 100% stirring the pot.”
Pop off, sis!
Wait, do I like maddy? Her telling Callum he doesn’t care about Austen and just wants to cause drama was queen behaviour #LoveIslandAU pic.twitter.com/EyNKeCJfSZ

The whole situation ended up becoming a game of Chinese Whispers, which ultimately resulted in Claudia completely blowing up at Mitch and Callum for gossiping.
When things reach boiling point, Jess jumped in to defend Claudia, and her monologue was fkn epic.
Thank You Jess! #LoveIslandAU pic.twitter.com/mIrd8eeM1x

The first episode of Love Island’s Ex-Week has seen a lot of people venting their frustrations at Callum’s shit-stirring ways.
Here are some of the best reactions to Love Island’s first episode of Ex-Week:
Imagine your ex speaking to your mum four times a week ? Bro, get a job, find a hobby. Do you talk to your mum four times a week? #LoveIslandAU
