Vakoo Kauapirura has shared a bunch of goss on her time on Love Island, and the tea is spicy AF.

For those who haven’t been keeping up with Love Island – The reality TV dating show where hot singles look for love in a villa – Vakoo dropped in on the action alongside Phoebe Han in the middle of the season.

Vakoo was previously on reality TV, participating in The Bachelor in 2019, but in the villa, she had eyes for the Welsh pool boy (and walking red flag), Callum Hole.

Unfortunately, Vakoo’s search for love in the villa was cut short after she was dumped last week by both Callum and Tak.

Since her short run on the show, Vakoo spoke to So Dramatic! and shared some pretty intense thoughts about her time on Love Island, her ex-partner Callum, and another connection she had on the show.

Here’s all the tea Vakoo spilled on her experience on Love Island

Her current thoughts on her relationship with Callum

Vakoo revealed that she had an instinct that Callum wasn’t ‘into her’ during their time together in the villa.

“I felt like he would have known for a while that he probably wasn’t interested in me…and I wish he had told me earlier because my whole journey was about him,” Vakoo said.

Upon her reflection on Love Island, Vakoo also shared that Callum might’ve gotten ‘caught up’ in the idea of her being a bombshell, and that he doesn’t realise that his flirtatious ways have consequences.

“We saw he was saying one thing to me and saying one thing to Layla… But I don’t think he realised the severity of what he was doing,” she said.

To give you a bit of context, Layla was Callum’s partner before Vakoo chose him during a recoupling ceremony, resulting in her elimination.

In a sadder take, Vakoo said that watching Love Island back made her feel “dumb,” saying,  “I feel like watching it is sad…It makes me sad because I feel so dumb, and it’s so embarrassing.”

When Callum officially broke things off with Vakoo on the show, she expressed that being coupled with him was a ‘waste of time.’

In Vakoo’s interview, she doubled down on her regrets with Callum, saying  “I don’t regret getting to know Callum, but I regret putting all my time in.”

OUCH! After all, Callum is a bloody walking red flag, and we’re so sorry she fell for that trap.

Her connection with Tak

Despite having a connection with Callum, Vakoo also had a separate vibe for Love Island’s rapper, Tak.

I mean, one of their iconic conversations was when she told Tak that she wanted her future husband to drink her cremated remains in a smoothie.

Vakoo has now said that she was disappointed that some of her more meaningful chats with Tak were cut from the show, telling So Dramatic!, “I was surprised at how little was shown of Tak and I.”

She also criticised the editing of the show, mentioning to So Dramatic! that it looked like she was grasping at straws to stay in the villa after she was dumped by Callum.

“I know it seems like that, but… the whole time, I told him that I wanted to get to know him (Tak),” she said.

However, in her exit interview on Love Island, Vakoo revealed that she tried to “paddle her way” back to Tak, saying, “I think I was dumped because I went for the wrong guy who didn’t like me, and then I tried to paddle my way back to my second option.”

So maybe things would’ve looked different if this season of Love Island wasn’t pre-recorded and was made live, like the previous seasons.

Unfortunately, her time was super short on Love Island, but we really wish she finds love ASAP.

Maybe Channel 10 should swoop her up for a revival of The Bachelorette?

Love Island streams on 9Now and 9Go!, Monday to Thursday at 6pm.
