married at first sight still together

Which ‘Married At First Sight’ Couples From 2019 Are Still Together?

While different reality dating shows have varying success rates, Married at First Sight might be one of the worst.

It’s pretty sad/funny/grim to think that zero couples from season three up until season five are still together. Yikes. That’s a total of 26 couples that barely lasted beyond filming and I’m not even counting the couples created from wife/husband swapping or once the show had ended.

It’s all pretty depressing tbh but thankfully last year’s season had the best success rate so far. So without further adieu, these are the couples from the 2019 season who are still together.

(FYI: We are only talking about the couples who made it to the final commitment ceremony because hoeee boy, a lot of them dropped out early.)

The Married at First Sight couples from 2019 who are still together:

Jules & Cam

This was the love story probably none of us actually deserved. Beyond the series, Jules and Cam went from strength to strength, culminating in a(nother) TV wedding making their nuptials official at the end of last year.

Relationship status: Married (actually tho).

Heidi & Mike

These two were a match made in hell. We watched on as Mike gaslighted Heidi throughout their stint on the series and while they chose to stay together at the final commitment ceremony, by the time the reunion dinner rolled around it was already over. According to their Instagrams, they seem to both be single and thriving doing their own thing.

Relationship status: Split

Ning & Mark

We truly rooted for these guys to go the distance. While at the commitment ceremony, Mark broke Ning’s heart, at the reunion dinner they were majorly getting their flirt on so we all had our fingers crossed. But sadly, it wasn’t meant to be and since the series ended while Ning is loving the single mum life, Mark is rumoured to be dating a contestant from The Block.

Jessika & Dan

Ooft. These two were trouble. Jess and Dan were initially matched with different partners – Mick and Tamara, respectively – but organised sneaky dates behind their partner’s backs before the MAFS experts let them pair up. While they got through the final commitment ceremony, they soon had an awkward fight on live television and eventually broke up. According to their socials, they both appear to be single.

Relationship status: Split

Martha & Michael

Who would have thunk it but these two have ended up becoming one of only three MAFS couples still together to this day, with the first being Erin and Bryce from season two. Martha reckons it was fate. “It’s so weird that we get along so well, and like, he lives five minutes away from my parents’ house. It’s meant to be,” Martha told us. Not going to lie, I find all their Instagram oversharing adorable.

Relationship status: Still together

So I guess we’re not totally doomed! We will have to see if any of this year’s couples actually go the distance but I’m not holding my breath.
