Ella From ‘MAFS’ Has Revealed Her Relationship Status With Mitch
Ella Ding and Mitch Eynaud ended the Married at First Sight experiment as a couple, but since the reunion Ella has confirmed they have since gone their separate ways.
This may come as a shock to some (who don’t read Punkee religiously), as the couple appeared better than ever on last night’s reunion. “We’re together. She’s my girlfriend,” Mitch told the experts. “I’m into this girl. I rate her.” Ella said she felt the same and they discussed plans for interstate visits to keep their romance alive.
But according to Ella, their romance is now well and truly deceased. RIP. In an interview on Today Extra, when asked if she and Mitch were still together, Ella did not mince her words. “Definitely not, can confirm love is dead,” Ella told the breakfast hosts.
“I can confirm I am single, again! Great. I’m just gonna focus on me and start that healing process. I have absolutely no regrets, I loved the whole experience, I’ve got friends for life.”
Last night was bittersweet, with the most intense year in 'Married at First Sight' history coming to a close. This year's voice of reason, Ella unpacks last night's final episode and reveals a shock update of her relationship with Mitch. #9Today pic.twitter.com/oJ0PzHZQsc

And it doesn’t sound like Ella and Mitch ended on good terms. “We haven’t spoken in a couple of months. I don’t have anything against the guy, [but] he could’ve treated me a lot better in terms of what’s happened post-show,” Ella revealed.
“He sort of cut me off when articles started to surface, I’m sort of just putting two and two together”
The ‘articles’ in question are likely the photos circulating of fellow contestant Brent and Ella on a Valentine’s Day date, along with Mitch and another bride Tamara being spotted together, with rumours circulating they are now dating. Ella went on to cast suspicion over Mitch dismissing Tamara at the reunion dinner party when she shared he had drunkenly called her to confess he had been thinking about her.
During the scene, Ella was not convinced and sided with Mitch — but she now feels differently. “That was really hard to watch last night, the way that I had responded and defended him,” Ella admitted. “He did drunk call her but he told me he didn’t recall what he had said. So, I think that in a way Tamara was trying to tell me, but not in the most mature way.”
Tamara stormed off during the reunion episode last night after she was accused of lying about the contents of the phone call. Ella did not confirm whether Tamara and Mitch were actually dating but didn’t rule it out either.
“To be honest, I actually don’t know what’s going on with Mitch and Tamara, I don’t know if they are together or not,” Ella said. “I think there was truth behind the intent, the text messages. I can’t defend him or her in this situation.”
With Ella and Mitch’s relationship done and dusted, this means Jackson and Olivia are the only couple formed from the experiment who are still together. Cool! Great! Wonderful!
