Welcome back to another night of Married At First Sight!  Another two new couples tied the knot, and in a MAFS first one of the weddings had zero guests due to Covid-19, which made it as awkward as it sounds.

Tonight we saw Dan Andre-sorry, Russell wed new wife Beth with neither of their family’s being able to make it, while PT Patrick who is definitely neither Tony Abbott nor Brad Pitt married Belinda, who’s never had a boyfriend. I’m not sure how, because she is drop-dead gorgeous and also seems like the world’s loveliest person, but I guess we all know by now you can’t trust the judgement of most straight men.

Anyway, enough from me. I know you didn’t exactly sign up for my own aggressive opinions every episode, and I have dessert to eat.

Let’s recap tonight’s Married At First Sight via the funniest tweets.

Patrick and Belinda are matched and already, we’re all rooting for them.

We meet Dan Andrews’ twin, Russell, and, well, as the old saying goes, boys and their toys…

Patrick and Belinda’s wedding is as adorably awkward as we could’ve hoped for.

And Russell and Beth’s wedding is awkward for a whole lot of different reasons, though Russell admitting he asked for hot chips for his wedding feast was the most relatable thing anyone’s ever said on this show.

Beth breaks down after her wedding, feeling totally overwhelmed by WTF she’s just done.

Patrick is worried Belinda has been hiding something from him, and she breaks out in dance for her new hubby… as you do.

Russell makes up for not knowing what salmon is by presenting Beth with a necklace and a sweet note.

We later learn Russell not only has Kombi van PJs, he also has no idea what Kiwi fruit or granola is.

But over on the other honeymoon, we learned Patrick and Belinda had no idea what a bungalow was.

And then Patrick and Belinda had the world’s most awkward bath, which is saying something, because we all lived through Richie and Alex after all.

BRB, gotta go scrub my eyeballs out. See you all for the first dinner party tomorrow night!
