Married at First Sight’s Holly Greenstein has not shied away from drama this season.

The 36-year-old cinema manager from NSW was matched with Texan groom Andrew Davis, and the couple’s marriage started off rocky after they clashed during an honesty box challenge and it only got worse as the experiment continued. Andrew critiqued Holly’s sexual skills and he became cold when she told him how much she wanted to start a family, before he then voted to stay in the experiment — but his card showed he originally wrote ‘Leave’.

Heading into Intimacy Week, Andrew was apologetic but when Holly was slow to forgive, he turned on her saying she exhibited “narcissistic behaviour”. This led to the second dinner party, where Andrew quickly turned the room against Holly with all his babbling sentiments of wanting to be a “gentleman” and being worried he “failed Holly”.

Unfortunately, most of the contestants fell hook, line and sinker for Andrew’s narrative and by the time Holly arrived and snubbed Andrew, the room was against her. “The fact that she came in here tonight and ignored Andrew, not once, but twice… not OK,” Olivia told the camera.

After the dinner party, Holly spoke about how she felt with being isolated from the other contestants. “I thought I was gonna walk in with support from the group,” she told 9Entertainment. “I was truly devastated when the group didn’t offer me warmth and they really shut me down and didn’t offer me any support when I had a really rocky road.”

Andrew and Holly spoke briefly at the dinner party, before Andrew stormed out and it doesn’t look like he’s returning. This means it could be the end of the road for Holly’s MAFS journey.

But it turns out MAFS is not Holly’s first brush with fame. Rumours have recently been doing the rounds that Holly is a paid actress, which stems from the MAFS bride’s previous acting experience. According to her IMDb page, between 2010 and 2017 Holly had six credits in various TV shows and movies, including films called The Bondi Chronicles and Toolies.

She even had a small role in an episode of sci-fi series Timeless, which aired in the US on NBC. Her IMDb page also claims she appeared on another Aussie reality show in 2008 titled The One: The Search Australia’s Most Gifted Psychic. That’s called range, baby!

In addition to her acting credits, Holly has modelled for a handful of campaigns as featured on her Instagram.

Holly applied for MAFS to meet the love of her life and to finally realise her life-long dream of becoming a mother. In a previous relationship, Holly thought she had found The One, but he ended up breaking her heart — revealing he did not want any more children. At 36 years old, Holly is realistic about her chances of falling pregnant as the years continue to tick by, so she hoped that the experts could fast-track her search for a forever partner to father her child.

When asked what she was looking for in a potential husband, Holly said she wanted to feel loved and listed emotional intelligence as her most coveted trait. “I do know that I have a lot of emotional intelligence and it would be great to be matched with someone who has a level of emotional intelligence,” she told 9Entertainment.

“I’m looking for someone who wants to be on my team. Who knows how to fight, who knows how to resolve issues and conflicts in a strategic way.”

Sadly, it doesn’t look like Holly found that in Andrew.
