Sam From ‘Married At First Sight’ Has Gone Rogue After Getting Hateful DMs From UK Viewers
People in the UK continue to be absolutely obsessed with Season 6 of Married At First Sight Australia. This is the season which made the likes of Martha Kalifatidis and Ines Basic household names.
The Aussie series is airing on Channel 4 in the UK and comes at a time when most of the public are still living under strict lockdown conditions. The episodes that have just aired focused on Ines and Sam Ball’s affair, which means the trolling of the two reality stars has reignited. The hate for the controversial MAFS contestants is pretty intense online.
Sam on Married at First Sight Australia is coming across as the most manipulative/gas lighty man I've ever seen how do you turn a whole table of people against the woman you're cheating on????

Ines has received death threats, while Sam posted to his Instagram overnight to share some of the abuse he’s been sent.

Along with the post, Sam also uploaded a series of videos about his experiences on MAFS — and he did not mince words. “I was in a contract for a long time, so kept my mouth shut,” he began. “Hope you guys in the UK are enjoying the show, because I’m about to ruin it for you.”
Speaking about how he infamously ditched his honeymoon with Lizzie Sobinoff to go to his ex’s father’s funeral, Sam said, “I knew Lizzie for 10 minutes, the funeral was the priority.” He added that he was only away for a couple of days, however producers didn’t let him rejoin Lizzie on their honeymoon and instead sent him to a hotel in Coogee.
Referring to the incident when he body-shamed Lizzie at their wedding, Sam had this to say in his defence: “Producers ask you and hit you up about your new partner,” he said. ‘They go off track, manipulate you and tell you what to say and ask questions until you answer it [how] they want you to answer it… I thought Lizzie was a lovely girl, I was trying to give her positive compliments until they told me to say what was said, so that’s what happened.
“I didn’t want to fat-shame her at all, that’s not what my intentions were. They [the producers] were the ones who said, ‘Sam, she’s a big girl mate, what are you doing?!’ That’s messed up, they [producers] shouldn’t do that, it’s all bullshit,” he said. He didn’t make any apologies for his degrading comments about wanting to “get her running” in any of the videos posted.
Regarding his night sharing a hotel room with Ines, Sam claimed producers pulled him “into a black room and asked me to do the Ines thing”, as they knew he had a background in acting. But he claims he didn’t spend the night with Ines and they never hooked up. “I didn’t sleep with anyone on the show, mark my words,” Sam said.
It’s important to note that Ines disputes this claim, as she addressed Sam in 2019 on her Instagram, writing “Yeah. The producers made you eat my pussy for four hours hun. Yeh ok.”
I miss Ines.
Finally, Sam said that he thinks the experts are all actors. “They don’t talk to you, they’re getting told things through an earpiece. They’re just actors,” he told his followers. OK, sure! He also claimed that the producers match up the couples — not the experts.
After his season aired in 2019, the trolling was so bad that Sam disappeared off social media for six months. The MAFS storylines involving Jessika Power and Dan Webb’s infidelity haven’t kicked off yet in the UK, so I’d say this is only the beginning of the shitstorm to come.
