‘Married At First Sight’ Twin Reckons Her Sister’s Match Was Incompatible After All
Last week the jig was well and truly up with the match-making skillz exhibited in this year’s Married at First Sight season.
With the final couple to survive the series now calling it quits, we can all agree the only good to come from the show was the epic drama for the audience – and wasn’t it great.
As Sharon and Nick confirmed their split, the show’s ‘match making experts’ have officially scored a zero success rate in the love department. No surprises that they did score great marks when it came to the ratings. It was a hit and the obsession was real.
Now Sharon’s twin sister has crawled out of the woodwork to explain the obvious – that maybe the pair weren’t as compatible as we were all led on to believe. Maybe they were doomed to begin with?
Michelle’s expert opinion is that the series didn’t match her sister too well after all. Oh no, did they not have her best interests at heart? She told OK! mag in a recent interview that the break-up was down to the pair’s incompatibility. Michelle said,
“She’s ready to settle down and have kids,” she said.
“She’s not a partier, she’s very down to earth and is looking for someone who is compatible and wants all of those things as well.”
These are a few deets that the MAFS crew probably would have known too well.
Michelle told the mag that when Sharon moved to Melbourne, she realised that Nick wasn’t ready to settle down and have kids – which is something Sharon was looking for when she signed up for the show.
You’d think(and hope) these minor inconsistencies would be ironed out by the MAFS psychologists when pairing people up. But alas, TV is all a lie and the contestants mere pawns to be burnt for our passing enjoyment.
But hey, who cares about details when there’s good television to be made. Huzzah!
