Stockpiling All Of The ‘The Masked Singer Australia’ 2023 Clues Here For You
The Masked Singer Australia will be returning to our screens soon, and host Osher Günsberg has spilled some piping hot tea. Apparently, this year’s mystery singing show is so incredible that it literally brought Osher to tears multiple times. If that’s not enough to make you watch the show, I don’t want to be your friend.
It’s the fifth season of the Channel 10 show, and if you’ve been living under a rock, here’s the premise: a slew of famous celebs don extravagant and outrageous masks and sing a tune or two, while a panel of judges try to guess who they are. There’s some clues that drop each week, and some celebs have distinctive voices which makes it easier to guess.
When will The Masked Singer Australia 2023 start?
The air date has finally been revealed and it’s good news! The celeb singing competition will hit Aussie screens very soon, so make sure you check out all the clues we’ve compiled below. The first episode will air Monday, September 11 at 7.30 pm on Channel 10 and 10 Play.
Host Osher spills secrets about The Masked Singer Australia 2023.
Osher told Punkee that while he can’t share any major spoilers (obviously), he has described the show as “extraordinary”, “joyful” and “the most fun”. Plus, some of the celebs that are on this year’s show are here for “emotional” reasons.
“This is easily the most emotional, most heartfelt [season],” he said. “When the heads came off, I was in tears like three to four times easily, because of who [they] were and why they were there.”
Who are the judges on The Masked Singer Australia 2023?
Dave Hughes, Abbie Chatfield, Chrissie Swan and Mel B are all returning to be on the judging panel, and Osher was delighted by the chance to work with the team again.
“I love that I get to work with Dave, Chrissie, Mel and Abbie, they are beautiful people and I couldn’t ask for a better way to go to work,” he said. “There’s no prize, there’s no money, it’s completely meaningless… that’s why I love it. It’s the best.”
What else can we expect from The Masked Singer Australia 2023?
The newest Channel 10 promo teases rumours about “huge stars” set to be revealed on The Masked Singer Australia. We’ve got new, fancy masks and the network claims the show will “definitely make headlines”. According to the promo, one of the reveals will be the “most surprising ever”. Ugh, can we have the new eps drop already? I don’t think you understand just HOW ready I am.

What clues do we have about The Masked Singer Australia 2023?
The Masked Singer: Who is Grim Reaper?
Our leading theory is that it’s Darren Hayes.
This mask is one of the creepiest yet, but the celeb underneath has the voice of an angel. In the latest promo, we get to see the Grim Reaper tackle two songs, ‘When The Party’s Over’ by Billie Eilish and ‘Unholy’ by Sam Smith and Kim Petras.

There’s a bit of debate on social media as to who Grim Reaper is, but our money is on Darren Hayes. A few people agree with us, but there’s also been guesses of MIKA, Troye Sivan and a rogue vote for Seal.
“Going to go out on a limb and guess Darren Hayes as I’m 100% sure that’s his voice,” one fan wrote.
“I think the Grim Reaper will be the winner of The Masked Singer Australia Season 5,” another declared.
“Troye Sivan? Or MIKA,” a third guessed.
The Masked Singer: Who is Cowgirl?
Our leading theory is that it’s Courtney Act.
I don’t know who had the genius idea to put a golden cowboy hat on a cow, but I’m obsessed. This cute blue and white cow has a flashy, pink jacket and bright pink lipstick. In the promo, we’ve been given this one clue: “Cowgirl, is it true that you’re the Grammy-winning global superstar?”
In another promo, Cowgirl is seen singing ‘Wannabe’ by The Spice Girls, and we’re convinced it’s Courtney Act. We’re not alone, with a bunch of fans sharing their thoughts online.

“That is, without a shadow of a doubt, our Courtney. Back home a few weeks ago, that high-pitched voice is pretty unmistakable. That’s our reality TV queen right there!” one fan wrote.
“The voice is a dead giveaway,” another added.
“It’s Courtney Act and I want her to win,” a third commented.
The Masked Singer: Who is Bouncer?
Our leading theory is that it’s Conrad Sewell.
In the latest promo, Bouncer sings John Farnham’s ‘You’re The Voice’, and the judges seem stumped. Hughesy says that the celeb has a “big voice”, and says they have “real talent”.
He sounds just like Conrad Sewell, and major fans have even pointed out similarities in the way Bouncer and Conrad stand.

“That has to be the steady hand of Conrad Sewell,” one person wrote.
“Conrad… Too easy. I wish they disguised their voices and slowly eased back to normal the further into the show they get,” another added.
“100% Conrad Sewell, even the way he stands,” a third chimed in.
The Masked Singer: Who is Snow Fox?
Our leading theory is that it’s Amber Riley.
Whoever’s under the elaborate Snow Fox mask is an incredible singer. In a promo shared on Instagram, the mystery celeb belted out ‘Addicted To You’ by Avicci. Mel B was amazed, and declared that Snow Fox is “definitely a global superstar”.
Amber is no stranger to the franchise, after winning The Masked Singer US as Harp and competing on The Masked Singer UK as Jellyfish. She obviously loves The Masked Singer, so if she’s Snow Fox, that makes total sense.

Some fans have backed up my theory on social media, but others think it could be Jessica Mauboy or Nicole Scherzinger. I doubt it’ll be Jess, because she’s a judge on The Voice Australia, which is on a competing network.
“After listening a couple more times, it’s our beloved Harp and Jellyfish,” one fan commented.
“It’s Amber for the third time. I love The Masked Singer,” another wrote.
“It’s Amber Riley from Glee,” a third added.
The Masked Singer: Who is Space Fairy?
Our leading theory is that it’s Tones and I.
This cute mask looks a bit like a green robot with sparkly skin and long, feminine eyelashes. In the latest promo, the celeb is singing ‘Hit ‘Em Up Style (Oops!)’ by Blu Cantrell, and I instantly thought it sounded like the ‘Dance Monkey’ singer. Some fans agree with me, but others think it could also be UK singer Anne-Marie or Hi-5’s Charli Robinson.

“My kids: that’s def Tones and I,” one fan wrote.
“Sounds like [Charli Robinson’s] Chatterbox voice,” another said.
“I think it sounds like Anne-Marie,” a third guessed.
The Masked Singer: Who is Crash Test Dummy?
This mask is giving race car driver vibes, with a blue cape, orange jumpsuit and checkered details. During a fake press conference, the masked celebrity gets confronted by multiple questions from reporters, including: “Crash Test Dummy, are you the Hollywood heartthrob? Is it true that you’ve sold over a million records? Aren’t you the sporting superstar?”
Are all these questions for the person inside the Crash Test Dummy mask? Or are they just throwing random questions in to baffle us? It’s working, consider me very confused. As more clues roll in, I’ll make sure to update them here.
