The Best Tweets About The ‘MasterChef’ Finale
Well MasterChef has wrapped up after 84 years, and it’s a big loss. I’m not sure what any of us are going to do with most of our weeknights now apart from probably watch Bachelor In Paradise and Farmer Wants A Wife.
This season was full of big, teary, moments from Reynold opening up about his struggles of running a business and wanting to give back to his parents, to the various emotional goodbyes as some of our faves got eliminated (I will forever love you chaotic Poh), and the fact that once social distancing was brought in that the cast could no longer comfort each other during these tough moments.
But we’ve had enough tears. ENOUGH! It’s time to talk about the finale which saw Emelia emerge triumphant, narrowly winning over Laura and her endless run of terrible finale luck.

It was a tense episode from the get-go. Laura badly burned her hand early on, which left her trying to cook with one arm for most of the episode. Unfortunately things kept going wrong for the pasta queen, after her artichoke gelato dessert suffered when the freezer door wasn’t closed properly.
Laura's battled with huge respect today. Burned her hand. Freezer door open. Doesn't give up. #masterchefaustralia #MasterchefAU

It was close in the end, but Emelia emerged victorious, after her dessert of pistachio financier with Davidson plum, raspberry sorbet, and meringue was deemed perfect by the judges.
Laura was gracious in defeat, congratulating her friend on an amazing job and saying she really deserved the win.
