Channel 9 has just dropped the first look into their latest reality TV dating show My Mum, Your Dad and I’m ready to check out some DILFS. ?

My Mum, Your Dad (previously known as Grown Up Love) was announced to be joining the Channel 9 roster during their Upfronts media presentation, where we also had a glimpse into Married At First Sight 2023.

This new reality TV dating show allows single parents to take a second chance at finding love accompanied by their child BUT the parents don’t know that they’re basically being matched by their kids, who are observing their every move in the surveillance room.

Throughout the trailer, you can hear these parents get extremely candid about their dating life with one woman saying, “I think it’s going to take a very special person for me to feel safe again.”

We also get our first look into a confessional between a mother and daughter tearing up, with the daughter saying, “I just really want her to find someone that she deserves.”

One of the funnier moments of the trailer is one of the Dad’s talking about how he’s seeking for that “sex on the couch” kinda passion in his relationship, without knowing his kids are listening in. And just to clarify, with all the sex talk being thrown around, the kids all seem to be of a mature age as they are referred to as “adult kids.” Phew.

Australian TV personality and radio host Kate Langbroek will be jumping on the show to help guide the kiddos and their parents through their quest for love.

My personal takeaway is that this show is definitely going to be an emotional ride. The parents are going at it by dating and the kids are going to be learning more about their parents and their authentic selves.  There’s no exact premiere date for when this show will hit the screens, but stay tuned…

My Mum, Your Dad coming soon to Channel 9.
