Punkee Tries: A ‘Sustainable’ Rabbit Vibrator With Ridiculous Ears

Did you start sex toy shopping and instantly become overwhelmed with the options? ‘Do you want 10-speed settings? Do you need one with air-sucking technology?’ IT’S CONFUSING. But don’t worry because we’re here to help with our Punkee Tries series – where real humans get real intimate with real sex toys and then tell you all about them.

Katie, who is Punkee’s Editor (and a vulva-owner with she/her pronouns), reviews a sex toy that claims to be making history by being one of the first ‘sustainable’ rabbit vibrators.

What is your first impression of the sex toy?

Well, this is a dinky little thing

Normally, when I think of a rabbit vibrator, I think of some massive, girthy dildo with an add-on rabbit head that works its magic on the clit. But this is more of a minimalist pocked-sized bullet vibrator with a rabbit hat on.

It certainly looks high-end, but I’m already questioning the power this little bunny has.

What does this sex toy do?

This vibrator has been stamped with the ‘sustainable’ label because it’s made fully from recycled, skin-friendly aluminium and soft, body-safe silicone. If I’m being honest, sustainability isn’t usually first on the priority list for a sex toy, but now I know that good-for-the-planet dongs exist I feel ridiculously smug that I own one.

In terms of what this vibrator can do, it’s an external-only toy, where you can plonk the rabbit ears onto a sensitive spot like the clitoral hood or nipples to stimulate pleasure.

What was it like using the sex toy? And how did it really feel?

I massively underestimated this sex toy.

I charged it up, which you do by unscrewing the bottom half off and plugging it in – which it got extra body safe points for as toys that have an open hole for charging can be a pain in the ass to keep clean. Once I turned it on it practically shook out of my hands, and that was only at level one…

I clicked through the settings and they are STRONG. There’s a mix of straight vibrations and pulse patterns and because I’m not keen on blasting my clit off, I start with the lowest and slowest setting, using it on top of my undies first.

The sensation is really solid. The vibration is powerful, if not a little loud, and it sends pulses way beyond the area where it’s placed. I click up a level and it is immediately too much. Like, way too much. So I click again and it bounces into the pulse patterns. Most are the stock-standard buzz-buzz-buzz-pause formulas but then the last click brings me to one that is more like a slow clap to a round of applause. The build-up is brilliant and the vibrations don’t get too hectic, but the rhythm is enough that I know it’ll work for edging.

I get cracking properly with this setting and it feels really good, but as I get closer to finishing I whack that button to bring me back to the basic bitch first setting and BOOM. A delightful orgasm for me.

Is the sex toy worth the price tag?

This sex toy is usually $129.95 but is currently on sale at Lovehoney for $64.97 and it is WELL worth it at that price point. It’s super strong, small enough to sneak into your luggage for a trip and with the number of vibration patterns you can work up to, you won’t get bored of this guy for a loooong time. Plus, the sustainability bonus gives a hefty bump of smugness.

Describe the sex toy in three words:

Surprisingly strong bunny.

What rating would you give the sex toy?

9/10.

This sex toy is best for people who…

Only want external play but their current sex toy isn’t getting them off like it used to.

Would you give this sex toy a second date?

Absolutely. Also keen to queue it up for couple-play because it’s small enough to not get in the way and powerful enough for both parties to feel it.
