Sandy Jawanda Just Shared How Different She Looked Before ‘MAFS’
While I’m not usually one for before and after, Sandy from the latest season of Married At First Sight has shared a glorious statement about the “glow up” that happened just before she signed up to get married on national television.
The dental hygienist, 37, who was paired with Dan Hunjas, 42, on MAFS, shared an Instagram reel of pictures from her European trip she took when she was 27 spliced with recent pics of her.
She titled the video: “When they don’t know how far you’ve come. Show them.”

When you’ve done the hard work…and they still say you’re not good enough. I was always good enough. If they can’t see it, that’s their problem ??♀️
Sharing this post took a lot of courage and vulnerability. These photos are difficult for me to look at, but they are also a reminder of how hard I have worked to be where I’m at now.
I am 27 in the first photo and 37 in the last. I aim to look even better at 47 ?
But what really counts, is who I am on the inside and that hasn’t changed. Lead with kindness, always ??❤️

Speaking with Yahoo Lifestyle about the video, Sandy said she was inspired to make a huge change during that holiday after she found herself exhausted and dodging cameras.
“I remember not wanting to take photos because I didn’t feel good about how I looked,” she told the publication. “But more importantly I didn’t feel healthy or have the energy I wanted on that trip.”
“When I got back I decided I wanted to make a shift, get healthier but also feel good about myself.”
Sandy has been single since her breakup with her MAFS groom, Dan, and has been spending time with her fellow Season 10 brides who she has become super close friends with.
