Jessica From ‘Bachelors’ Has Addressed What Her ‘Open Relationship’ Actually Means
Jessica Navin (aka Bella Swan) from The Bachelors has shared more info about her open relationship with Damien, and it’s giving us flashbacks to the Team Jacob vs Team Edward days.
The Bachelors has been absolute chaos this year, and to be quite honest, the thought of following three straight white men (Jed McIntosh, Thomas Malucelli, and Felix Von Hofe) on their search for love sounded like a bore, but for some reason, it’s been bombshell after bombshell.
One of the major plotlines of this season has followed Felix Von Hofe and his blossoming relationship with Jessica, but at the beginning of the season, Jessica was outed by Tash for having an open relationship.
After some uncertainty on Felix’s behalf, the Bachelor had moved past Jessica’s bombshell secret, but Felix was confronted with the open relationship again when Jessica’s boyfriend, Damien, appeared on the show this week.

And NGL, learning about Jessica’s relationship status left us with many questions about Damien, but luckily, the reality TV Gods are listening as on Thursday morning they blessed us with a massive tea spill sesh from Jessica on The Kyle and Jackie O Show.
On the radio show, Jessica got into the nitty gritty of her and Damien’s relationship, revealing that the pair met at the end of 2021 at her mother’s meditation centre in Townsville. She also said that they’d only been together for a couple of months before she applied for the show.
Jessica then spoke about how their open relationship had begun, revealing that she started the relationship aware they had a ‘expiration date’. “I explained to Damian, ‘Look, I don’t really want to be settling down in Townsville’. I either wanted to move overseas or move out of Queensland,” Jess said. “I just wasn’t sure if I wanted to kind of put all of my eggs in one basket at that point in time in my life.”
The Bachy contestant also spoke about Damien’s reaction to her joining the dating show. “He was very supportive, and he was like ‘Babe, I think this is 100% what you need to do.’ Yeah, he was all for it,” she added.

Jessica opened up about how she’s gone dating other men while being with Damien, and OFC in true gross Kyle Sandilands fashion, the shock jock asked if she had ‘slept with’ anyone else during her relationship.
“I remember crying to Damien afterwards,” Jess said, recalling two dates she’d been on during her open relationship. “I feel like, I’m cheating on you, it’s just so weird… This is such an out-of-body experience.”
Overall, the whole Bachelors situationship has left Jessica ‘feeling like Bella Swan in Twilight’. But we all know, we’re Team Damo in this house!
