Tilly From ‘The Bachelors’ Reckons Felix Might Pull A Honey Badger
Tilly Skok did not come to play on this year’s The Bachelors. Not since the days of the iconic Abbie Chatfield have we seen a contestant with more sexual chemistry with her Bachy.
Right from the beginning, Tilly and Felix Von Hofe couldn’t keep their hands off each other. On their first date playing cricket — yes, the least sexy sport there is — they ended the date by pashing on. From here, it seemed like every time Felix and Tilly were in the same room, they’d be caught furiously kissing each other. As Abbie once famously said, “It was A LOT!”
Tilly’s forthright nature in her interactions with Felix didn’t always make her the most popular and she clashed with Krystal Thomas in the mansion. This made it all the more tense on Monday’s episode when Felix only had one rose to give between Tilly and Krystal, and he opted to keep Krystal.
Tilly was marched out of the mansion with Felix telling her he didn’t see their relationship turning into anything more than a “fling”. Savage!

Felix’s decision left fans shocked as he had arguably spent more time with Tilly this season than any other contestant. If Tilly wasn’t in Felix’s top three, then what chance does Felix have of proposing at the end of all this? This is a question Punkee posed to Tilly, as we caught up with the recent eliminee.
When we asked who Tilly predicted would be Felix’s chosen one, or if she thought he might choose no one, Tilly replied, “The Honey Badger comment [on this week’s episode] actually came from me.” This is referencing the moment in Monday’s episode where the women joked about one of the three Bachys pulling a Honey Badger aka picking no one in the finale.
Tilly continued, “Maybe I’ll stick to my gut and the Honey Badger comment,” she said. “Maybe he won’t choose anyone at all.”
Tilly added that during a conversation she had with Felix before departing the mansion, she had noticed he seemed unsure about picking someone in the finale. “He was still struggling to verbalise that himself which equated to me saying ‘Are you going to pull a Honey Badger?'” Intriguing!

Tilly could be on to something as according to the betting odds, while Jessica Navin might be the favourite to win Felix’s heart, the second most popular vote is the option that Felix “leaves without a relationship”. Lol. Yikes.
Whether Felix chooses someone or not, Tilly told us she thought it was her time to go on Monday night’s episode. “My tummy was screaming that it was my time to go,” Tilly admitted. “It was the perfect time for me to exit in style, which I definitely did. The whole house was in shock though. From my single date, I knew it wasn’t meant to be between us.”
On the topic of the single date, which saw Tilly and Felix on a go-karting date, she revealed she had trouble opening up to Felix when she could tell the vibes were off, as he was no longer initiating physical intimacy. “In that moment, he was asking me to delve deeper but he wasn’t able to verbalise that himself. He was telling me ‘you’re not this’ or ‘you can’t do this’ but he wasn’t asking me any questions to make me feel safe to open up.”
But there’s no bad blood between Tilly and Felix, and she even said that she thought he had copped a lot of unfair criticism from fans this season. “I don’t think any of it is deserved. Yes, it’s a TV show and you’ve seen that arc of Felix looking like an F-boy and then growing throughout the experience. But I don’t think any of the criticism he’s received has been warranted — that’s just his personality… He says it how it is which makes great TV for the viewers,” she said.
Ultimately, Tilly thinks she’ll probably meet Felix again after the show wraps up. “We haven’t spoken since we said goodbye but I’m sure once this is all over… We both live in Melbourne and run in the same industry,” she said.
“I’m sure we’ll see each other around.”
