Brittany And Ryan From ‘The Challenge’ Just Had The Most Awkward Radio Encounter
Bachy star Brittany Hockley confronted her least favourite castmate from The Challenge during her radio show, and it was super awkward!
The Challenge is the latest reality TV competition to hit Channel 10, premiering earlier this week and the drama is already in full swing as ex-reality TV stars, Olympians, and other Aussie talent pair up and face-off in a bunch of challenges and tasks, for the chance to take home $200,000 and win a place in The Challenge: Global Championship.
Brittany Hockley, who you probably know from The Bachelor, Bachelor In Paradise, and her hit podcast with Laura Byrne, Life Uncut, appeared on the Kyle and Jackie O Show earlier, and a caller asked Brittany who she did not get along with from the cast of The Challenge.
Brittany then got candid about a particular male castmate that she clashed with during her time on the show. “I want to start by saying, it’s very hard to upset me or make me dislike someone. I’m a lover,” she said. “There’s one person that was just so rude to me…It was Ryan (Gallagher) from Married At First Sight.”
She then went on to explain why Ryan made it on her naughty list, claiming that he did a number of things to upset her. “He was constantly having a go to me… calling me an idiot, calling me a drunk — I didn’t even drink.”

Kyle Sandilands then decided to call Ryan to make things extra uncomfortable, even after Brittany said she wouldn’t talk to Ryan if he picked up.
After a failed attempt to get him on air, Ryan eventually picked up the phone, and things got… well, awkward.
Kyle asked Ryan if he “did not get on with Brit”, and Ryan danced around the question saying, “You’ll have to wait and see… she shouldn’t be giving stuff away from the show.” Brittany then told Ryan that she didn’t want to call him at all. The tension! You could cut it with a blunt knife!
Kyle continued to do what he does best and stir the pot, alluding that Ryan and Brittany should’ve hooked up during their run on The Challenge, saying that the pair are “good looking people” and that “anything could’ve happened”.
With Brittany keeping silent and Ryan saying a hookup didn’t happen, Kyle wasn’t done yet. He went on to continue the conversation about rooting, asking Ryan if he was rooting Aussie Olympian and The Challenge castmate, Emily Seebohm, something he also denied.
Kyle then alleged that The Challenge beef was all in “Brittany’s mind”, however, she fired back, saying, “Ryan knows.”
To conclude this absolute trainwreck of an interview, Ryan chimed in, saying, “in the end, it’s a game”, which resulted in awkward silence and dead air.
That’s gonna be a yikes from us.
Despite the conversation being about the beef between Ryan and Brittany, Ryan congratulated Brittany on her new role as Kyle’s co-host for the Kyle and Jackie O Show. Brittany was brought onto the hit brekkie show after Jackie O stepped back due to some health concerns.

While there hasn’t been any conflict between Ryan and Brittany on The Challenge just yet on our screens, this spill sesh was definitely juicy. I guess we’ll have to bide our time and wait and see what happens next…
